Internship extension query

I'm currently preparing for usmle ,inka steps ivaledu so visa and rotations easy avthadi ani Ive extended my internship, originally should have graduated in June 2025 , but did so that my visa can be approved but now it got rejected.im from a pvt medical College in Telangana.I've got few suggestions that I can extend my internship another year and apply for visa later by stating the reason as observership. But there is a rule no that we need to take our degree within 2 yrs or else it will get invalidated. Does anyone have any idea about it.

I've my interview on May 6 . My brother has mentioned I'm a student at my college doing internship. Even on ds 160 I am still pursuing my degree. I've even applied for upcoming inicet and even taken the printout. My college has given me Bonafide certificate( mentioned as house surgeon and visa interview as purpose)and custodian certificate(this one shows my certificates are still with my college). I even have my id card. I have an FD on my name . My research is underway I've submitted the abstract waiting for the correction and publishing of the article with the help of my professor). And even my professor has also asked to work on another proposal of his . My brother has mentioned in invite letter that we as a family share an interest for travel and that I've exploreed few places in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and that it would be a small family vacation. My brother has booked a separate date for consulate because what if I've an exam coming up and i can change the date at my convenience.

Now all the above is very true. But the thing is as I've mentioned I've extended my ORIGINAL DEGREE. As in I've still not taken my degree officially and delayed it by not doing for 3 months. So I was supposed to complete my internship on June 2025 but didn't do my internship for three months so I've days of record till March 2025. I've done this delaying because I can get my visa easier if I'm still a student, and getting research opportunities at a lower cost in the us. Now I'm getting really scared about what they might ask. And I've not even given my step 1 yet. I've heard many of them suggesting that I should not mention that I am preparing for usmle at all.

I would be of great if you could help me. I've been reading here and asking chatgpt too

My brother is on L2 and sister in-law on L1. My parents had an interview last week it got approved.

Please help guys. And can I know chances of my approval or things that increase my approval chances.

I'm applying from india, Hyderabad consulate. For b2 tourism visa. I am also preparing for usmle but thinking not to mention it and say family visit instead.
