(Looking for shows as good as The Rookie)

We have an opinion! We just watched all of what’s available of The Rookie. Really enjoyed it. I give it a solid 8/10. Anyways. It hit all the notes we enjoy.
Decent amount of humor. Action. Semi-believable premise and plot-lines. Chemistry between actors. Slow burn romance. Very little language, and not so inappropriate that you have to skip stuff. We want a story, not bedroom fantasies.

I was very impressed by how high quality the filming and pacing was, and I really wish more TV was as good at this as The Rookie.

Give me your best suggestions… and go!!

Need a new character for a long term campaign.

For the last 3-4 years my brother has run a campaign for me and a few friends…
I played a High Elf Wizard and his whole deal was “I wanna be a great wizard like my grandfather”
He was young, a book worm, and kinda bland.
Wizard was pretty fun, but I’m ready for something else.

Other party members:
Human Battle Master Fighter
Shader-Kai Forge Cleric
Wood Elf Swashbuckler Rogue (left cause distance)
Minotaur Wildfire Druid (left cause baby+distance)

So I’m playing alongside a fighter and a tanky cleric and I want to play a character with more depth, possibilities, and options.

If you got some good ideas I’d like to hear your most creative ones to help my brain get started on someone really FUN to play and laugh about and grow close to, but not a joke character and not overpowered.
