hello! i'm looking for lighthearted romance/romcoms that allow you to just take your mind off things!

i particularly love just ones that aren't trying too hard (if that makes sense) and are like "gen-z"-y (i'm thinking of like red white & royal blue here where the characters are very 2024-y)

some examples i can think of that i like are: red white & royal blue, call me by your name, to all the boys i've loved before, materialists, crazy rich asians

while i haven't seen all of these, i would probably assume something kinda like in the same style as the idea of you, ppl we meet on vacation, materialists, anyone but you, etc etc

hi!!! the title is basically what i'm looking for. i want more lighthearted tv show, easy to watch/binge or be able to just watch a few episodes everyday. i don't really wanna have to think if that makes sense...

i've been rly into the "gen-z" modern type of stuff lately (heated rivalry, overcompensating, adults, cruel intentions, etc) , especially stuff based on books as i love to both watch the tv show + read the books! but i'm open to anything, incl. foreign media (kdramas? cdramas? etc). my only thing is no horrors or murder mysteries please or like supernatural stuff (like ghosts or zombies)

some stuff i've really enjoyed recently: off campus, adults, cruel intentions, partner track, young & hungry + the stuff i mentioned above

i also used to rly like xo kitty, never have i ever, my life w the walter boys, summer i turned pretty and all that jazz so if anyone has stuff in that category too, i'd be cool with that!
