Getting add to carts but almost no orders… what am I doing wrong?

Hey guys,

I could really use some honest feedback here.

I recently started a small clothing brand and built the website myself. It’s all online for now, and I’ve been running some ads + trying to drive traffic over the last couple of months.

I’ve gotten about 100 add to carts in the last 3 months… but only 2 actual purchases.

So clearly something is breaking in between.

From what I’ve seen (using session recordings etc.), people:

browse the site properly

spend a decent amount of time

even add products to cart

but then just drop off

I’ve already tried fixing a few things:

added some reviews (including one with image)

added COD, returns, trust badges etc.

simplified pricing (no hidden charges now)

added WhatsApp support

Still no real improvement in conversions.

At this point I’m not sure if it’s:

a trust issue

pricing problem

something off with the product pages

or just normal early-stage struggles

Would really appreciate if you can take a look and be brutally honest:

Anything that feels off, confusing, or makes you hesitate to buy—please point it out.

Thanks a lot 🙏

New to Shopify! Any productive criticism helps

My website is soberstill.shop - I’d appreciate any feedback. I am proving a concept and very early. Instagram @iamsoberstill is my primary driver. Looking to add Etsy / Facebook and Amazon as well.

I’m pretty disappointed I have 0 sales but I know I should manage expectations better. Hoping to increase but I know it’s not a magic wand, it will fall eventually!

Anything helpful is appreciated

Need some advice/guidance with my Shopify store

Hey y'all, I recently started a shop for my self designed 3d printed decorations. I know that 3d printed products aren't as desirable, but it is what I know best. I have only been running ads for a few days, some through Instagram posts (~128 link clicks), some through the business Meta page, and I'm currently setting up Meta ads. I have had almost 300 sessions (a lot of which are probably just me), but no conversions, and also probably a lot of bots. Here is the site: www.atelierrosher.com

Any advice would be much appreciated, and please take it easy on me, I'm still new to this space and am only doing this because some of my friends thought my designs were cute and said I should try selling. I also know that I should probably just sell on Etsy, but the person I used to work for (whom I've designed half of the products on his page for) ran his own Shopify store and saw good success.

Thank you guys.

Edit: I also added Microsoft Clarity to see the in-depth activity, which I can also provide if it gives a better picture.

Is there an obvious gap or issue on my checkout page that I can fix?

I'm getting ATC's but still no sales. We're talking about roughly 50 ATC's vs 1 sale so far after 2 months of running ads on meta at 50$/day (testing phase), which would indicate a trust issue at the last step, can anyone help me spot it?

Here's our checkout page below

Thanks in advance

I finally launched my Shopify app today

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share that my app, Modelize, is finally live today. I see many people here asking about how long the Shopify review takes and if you can really build apps with AI, so I want to tell you how it went for me.

Why I built this

I run a Shopify agency. My clients always ask for AI photos for their products. For a long time, I was just using some custom Python scripts to do it for them. It worked, but it was a big headache because I had to upload everything back to Shopify manually or build custom apps every time. It took too much time. So I built an app to do it automatically in bulk directly in the admin.

How I built it

I built the whole thing in about one week. I used Claude Opus 4.6 to write almost all the code. The app uses Nano Nana 2 to generate the images. I personally use Visual Studio Code with Github Copilot.

My experience with the review

This is the part many of you are waiting for. Here is exactly what happened with my calendar:

March 8: I finished the main parts and submitted the app.

April 17: First review feedback received. One minor correction mentioned, I fixed it and responded in 30mins.

April 20 (Today): I am approved and published!

My advice

The review line is very long right now (it took me exactly 6 weeks). My advice is: do not wait for your app to be "perfect" before you click submit. If the main feature works and it is useful, just send it.

You will wait 5 or 6 weeks before someone even looks at it. You can use that time to fix small bugs, make the design pretty, or add more features. Just get your place in the line as soon as you can. Also, make sure you follow the Shopify listing rules perfectly because that is what they check first.

If you want to see how it works, the app is not yet well referenced in the app store of course so here is the link: apps.shopify.com/modelize. You can generate 5 images for free to test it. I would really love to hear your feedback or if you think I should change something to make it better for merchants.

Good luck with your apps!

Would love some honest feedback on my store!

https://createe.nl/

I launched my clothing brand about 3 months ago. Had some sales, mainly from inner crowd or other contacts. Now for the past month I've been running Meta ads and posting on instagram and linkedin. I am getting roughly 30-40 visitors a day.

However, barely any add to carts (I have a flow for a 'please come back' email) or sales. Would love to have some honest feedback, even though the site is in Dutch.

Myself I've been thinking these might be the issues:

  • No iDeal support (this is the biggest payment platform in the Netherlands)
  • AI product images. Even though I've done a lot of work trying to make them as realistic as possible, it might still be an issue.
  • Barely any off-site reviews.

Full rebrand + 0 Shopify sales—what would actually make you buy?

I recently did a full rebrand of my sticker shop and rebuilt my Shopify site from scratch. I also audited all my listings (photos, descriptions, structure) to improve clarity and conversion.

Site: https://paperhartsdesign.com

Right now:

  • Etsy: ~2 sales/week
  • Shopify: 0 sales

Before I start putting money into ads, I want to understand what’s still not working.

What I’ve already improved:

  • Branding (more cohesive, less generic)
  • Listing photos and mockups
  • Product descriptions and structure
  • Overall site layout + mobile experience

What I’m trying to figure out:

  • Why Shopify isn’t converting at all
  • If there are trust issues or weak first impressions
  • Whether my products themselves are the problem
  • What would actually make you buy from this site

Be blunt. I’d rather fix the real problems than keep guessing.

Rate my shop

I retired early and started my Bitter Bull streetwear label in March 2026. Playing the slow SEO game with zero paid ads and just getting started with social media posts. Counting on organic traffic. My niche isn't for everyone. It's personal and mood-driven, text-driven, and mostly sarcastic, cynical, and dark humor, along with my Bitter Bull branding. Check it out if you have time. I could use some helpful feedback. Rage on. https://bitterbull.com/

Roast my landing page, selling pre-built Shopify stores.

Hi guys, I've always been giving reviews in this sub but never actually requesting one myself.

Quick context: I build fully branded Shopify dropshipping stores and sell them for €299. The buyer gets everything: product, branding, supplier access, domain, 1:1 support and a guide to get live. Targeting people who want to start a dropshipping business but don't want to deal with the setup.

Here's the landing page: https://yourstoreguy.com/products/dropshipping-store

Would love honest feedback, specifically:

  • Does the offer feel convincing and clear?
  • Would you trust it enough to buy?
  • What's your biggest concern before clicking the buy button?
  • Is anything missing or unclear?

Brutally honest is more than welcome.

Life-changing chocolate chip cookies looking for life-changing sales! Would appreciate any feedback!

Hello all! I’m Nikki, owner of Butter + Bow, based in New York. We make artisan cookies and handcrafted gifts. Started on Shopify in June of last year and we had a crazy holiday spike but our typically traffic is low (15-40 visitors) a day. We have a local farmers market presence and started running a few Meta ads. Site conversion is good (about 4.34% in the last 90 days). We use a custom theme and are in the process of improving consistency in photos/copy/navigation on our site.

I’d love if this incredible subreddit could provide some thoughts and feedback. In particular, what are your first impressions, if we could improve on any true signals, and navigation!

I’m a corporate girl turned full time entrepreneur and still figuring out e-commerce! Thanks in advance!

Any advice for my store?

I think my main problem is gaining trust to order, its an artificial plant store. Been iterating on the design, trying to find what works, but nothing is really boosting sales. Seem to also struggle getting enough eyeballs on the product pages, lots of Home page bounces. I've had some orders, but not consistent and not enough to cover advertising costs.

Keen to hear any advice or thoughts on the design, etc.

Honest Review - First Store Failed

My first store has failed with $-320 in ad spend and $120 revenue resulting in a total loss of $250. I am happy to even get two sales and make this a learning experience. Please review my store/website, and critique anything that may need improvement for future stores.

Are there any ways to find out what went well, and what didn’t, as a new entrepreneur? Thanks.

PREVIEW | Rate my Theme

Hi, I have a live shop that currently runs on Dawn with some adjustments such as custom fonts and custom colors.

I now develop a theme based on my corporate design. Please Ignore the copywriting; that's all AI-generated, even though it's inspired by the current shop. I only target Germany, so there is no english translation.

I would love to get some feedback on the design.

This theme preview is available for the next 48 h.

Opinions Needed !

Just launched my jewelry brand, Bariq. I’m aiming for a high-end luxury feel for our gold-dipped pieces.

Does the site feel premium, or like a basic template? Looking for minor tweaks to improve the vibe. Thanks!
