Happy Easter from XERA Watches

I’ve shared this here before, but thought I’d drop back in and say Happy Easter.

Still working on the XERA concept — a watch inspired by the idea of time as a dimension, and what a “time object” might look like if it wasn’t designed the traditional way.

The approach has always been dial-first, focused on the edge rather than the centre — loosely inspired by the event horizon where time and light remain observable.

Prototype is currently in production, so just in that waiting phase now while everything gets finalised.

Always interested in thoughts, especially from people into watches/design.

Help Finding Gasket

Hi there r/watchrepair. I need help finding the correct term and size for this thing- I assume it's simply called a gasket but I may be wrong. It's on the back of the battery hatch of my watch. I've changed the battery plenty of times, and I thought I should probably buy a stock of gaskets and change it too when I change the battery.

It's kind of hard to tell because it's been stretched out and it's a bit dry, but it seems the gasket's diameter is 22mm and its thickness is 1mm. I took a measurement with it stretched nearly straight, just in case this is necessary, but I don't think this is really a thing. Anyways, that measurement was 31 mm, if necessary.

Can anyone tell me what this part is called, and where I should buy it from?

If it helps, the watch is a Japan-only brand "Maker's Knot Watch," model CS-36. Actually pretty cool watch. Some might think the "swap the strap" feature is just a gimmick, and maybe it is, but I like only needing to own one watch for a variety of occasions.

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thank you.

TW2W22800 replacement crown and stem

Hi all, I have a Timex The Waterbury GMT that needs a replacement crown and stem as i received them without those parts. How can I find what movement is used and what crown and stem would suit? Thanks in advance!

ETA zero reset button not clicking/ working

So my partner has a Chrono Louis Erard with an ETA 251.471.

When replacing the battery and try to reset the chrome dials (she knows nothing about watches so they were all offset) I noted the split time/ reset button was not working/ clicking. Concerned I had a look and noted that I could get it to work normally.

Further investigation looks like the whole dial is marginally offset away from the crowns. I ‘think’ the plastic movement ring to centre the mechanism is slight deformed. By rotating it slightly I managed to get it to allow the reset to work (just about), but not a great state of affairs.

Is this a common issue, ?! Are the movement rings easy to obtain, or do I need to go to the manufacturer?!

Thanks
