[Mido tv 35] keep or no ?

Hi guys, today i'm wearing my Mido tv 35. Just à Quick check, is it too big ? I have the smallest wrist ever, it's pretty annoying.

The bracelet is not tight enough because of no micro adjusment and even if i love the rubber, the top side has a double layers that pisses me off...

I dont know if i should keep it or change the rubber for a delugs or others brand.

Beautiful

Just got delivered today. Picked it up from Joma, they were running a mothers day sale and had extra off via the app.

Exceeded my expectations seeing it in person, was worried the 40mm would be too big for my small wrist (little below 7 inch wrist, didn’t measure correctly), but it wears super nice on the wrist. Actually looks smaller than I expected which is a good thing for me. Absolutely beautiful and the rubber band is super comfortable.

Thinking of buying this

Hey guys, this is my first time thinking of buying a
Mido Multifort TV 35mm

Have anyone ever owned this watch before? And does Mido offer good quality? I really like this watch, especially with the small diamonds inside. But is it worth it? Is Mido a good brand overall?

And also, do you think it would fit my wrist? (6,1 inch). Since I have quite small wrists 😄

Thanks in advance! 🙌🏼

Change of pace...

Went with a change for today, mustard yellow two piece nato style strap on the Mido. Definitely a change but i kinda like the combo. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Reckon Mido will release any new colours for the Multifort TV Big Date this year?

Im going to get one of these but can't decide on which colour combo to get. Leaning towards the black with orange strap currently but do you think we'll see new colours any time soon?

[Mido Oceanstar] Cousin went gator hunting. I kept the leather🐊

This was a fun strap build. I know divers and leather are a no no. But…I don’t care.

My cousin went gator hunting and he gave me the leather. It’s all I’ve been working with for the past few weeks and really like how this one turned out. Plus…I think these Mido Oceanstar deserve more love than they get. Really great watches for the money. This one was a gift from my Ma. Probably the best gift anyone has ever given me. She’s a University of Florida graduate and so it felt right to put this one on gator strap 🐊

Ocean star 39 limited edition

Has anyone been able to see this in person? Are there any real-life pictures or videos of it? I really like the colors, but I couldn’t find any videos about it.

After owning a Tissot PR100 for years (and a Seiko Presage before), I just sold it recently and bought the Mido Multifort TV Big Date with the blue dial.

That watch really stands out and I loved it from the first time I tried it, I tend to like watches that look a bit different, also got the rubber strap which makes it even more polyvalent. Looks not bad on my 16.5cm wrist.

Since it will be my GADA and is for now my only watch, I’m planning to potentially acquire another one later this year or next year, otherwise I know I will at some point get tired of wearing the same every single day.

I was thinking of a diver but well most of them are Submariner or Seamaster homages. Although some stand out, like the Mido Ocean Star 39 (but then it will be two Mido’s, but is that really a problem?) or the Rado Captain Cook 39mm but I would like not to exceed €1500. I also love Longines and wouldn’t say no to a Conquest or Spirit in the grey market.

For info, I’m based in France but can easily have access to “better” watches markets like Japan and Korea since I spend a lot of time in that part of the world.

Any thoughts will be appreciated 😊

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I recently started to like field watches as well, tried the Hamilton Murph 38 and the new Seiko Alpinist green dial on the dark brown leather strap, and I absolutely loved their vibe. The grail in that type of watch would of course be a Spirit.

This watch for a first watch?

Would this be a crazy first watch? It's so pricey but if it lasts a lifetime or at least many, many years I'm good with it. Sapphire glass on top, right? That seems promising and particularly scratch resistant? Which I want?

I'm interested in a MIDO...

Btw, MIDO's seem hard to get 2nd hand? Not a lot on ebay.

Is this a good first watch? I also like that it's Quartz--which is probably way controversial? I figure?--so you have the convenience and reliability of not having to wind haha but I bet that's a polarizing opinion.

which is better? this one? or the ocean star, in terms of build and presence…,

I’m using the picture of the multifort as a reference only…,
thanks in advance!

Or is there another one you can suggest?

Restored Mido Commander daydate

I just got this restored Mido Commander daydate. It originally came with a president style bracelet but unfortunately it didn’t fit my tiny wrist; I switched it out with a pristine milanese bracelet and reminded me of this rolex (personally this type of bracelets are my favorites)

My first Mido

Quality seems good. No online pictures seem to do justice to the dial. This was also my first Jomashop purchase so saved a ton over retail.

Multifort Big TV Bracelet

Just ordered the Rose Gold Big TV with brown rubber strap, excited!

However, wondering where I can source and purchase the rose gold stainless steel strap as well as I’d like to switch on and off? I been looking online and can’t seem to find it and have only found it for what I assume is the 35mm model as the lug width was 18mm and not 22mm.

Separately anyone know where I can find a deployant clasp that actually fits the Mido rubber strap? The rubber strap after some research seems to be 22mm at the lug but 19mm at the end of the clasp. Was initially looking at Artem Straps but they only do 18 and 20mm, so not sure if it would fit.

Multifort Power Reserve

I don’t wear this watch nearly enough but it’s still one of my favorites.

Warranty?

I bought a Commander Gradient two weeks ago. I just noticed that there's a small burr on the date window. Should I send it in for warranty repair, or am I overreacting? I bought it directly from an authorized dealer, and it's correctly registered in my Mido account.
