After owning a Tissot PR100 for years (and a Seiko Presage before), I just sold it recently and bought the Mido Multifort TV Big Date with the blue dial.

That watch really stands out and I loved it from the first time I tried it, I tend to like watches that look a bit different, also got the rubber strap which makes it even more polyvalent. Looks not bad on my 16.5cm wrist.

Since it will be my GADA and is for now my only watch, I’m planning to potentially acquire another one later this year or next year, otherwise I know I will at some point get tired of wearing the same every single day.

I was thinking of a diver but well most of them are Submariner or Seamaster homages. Although some stand out, like the Mido Ocean Star 39 (but then it will be two Mido’s, but is that really a problem?) or the Rado Captain Cook 39mm but I would like not to exceed €1500. I also love Longines and wouldn’t say no to a Conquest or Spirit in the grey market.

For info, I’m based in France but can easily have access to “better” watches markets like Japan and Korea since I spend a lot of time in that part of the world.

Any thoughts will be appreciated 😊

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I recently started to like field watches as well, tried the Hamilton Murph 38 and the new Seiko Alpinist green dial on the dark brown leather strap, and I absolutely loved their vibe. The grail in that type of watch would of course be a Spirit.
