Ocean star 39 limited edition

Has anyone been able to see this in person? Are there any real-life pictures or videos of it? I really like the colors, but I couldn’t find any videos about it.

Hey everyone,

I could really use some perspective from people who’ve been in a similar situation.

Right now my collection consists of a Grand Seiko Shunbun, a Rolex Submariner 40mm, and a Omega Speedmaster Sapphire Sandwich.

I’ll need to get the Rolex serviced soon anyway, but lately I’ve found myself getting a bit bored with it. It’s obviously an amazing watch, but I don’t really feel comfortable using it as a true daily beater. Please don’t tell me i need a g-shock (i dont).

On top of that, I can’t shake the “douchebag factor” a bit — seeing so many questionable dudes wearing Rolex kind of takes away from the enjoyment for me.
Because of that, I’ve been thinking about selling the Sub and replacing it with a Tudor Pelagos 39, which I feel would better fit my lifestyle as an everyday, worry-free watch.

With the remaining budget, I’m considering picking up something like a neo-vintage Omega Seamaster, or maybe going in a different direction with pieces like a Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar or an IWC Ingenieur Aqua Dial.
So I guess my questions are:

Has anyone here gone through something similar?

Did you regret selling your Rolex?

Is it normal to get bored of a Rolex after a few years?

I know it sounds strange, but I’m trying to figure out whether this is just a phase or a genuine shift in taste.

Curious to hear your thoughts
