I've noticed this and mostly on Reddit, whenever people want to ask something, they have to "soften" the question or they will get a douchy response, even though it's just a basic question with no hidden meaning.

Why are people so angry online? (honest question)

-I would never sleep on wool sheets

-Why not? They're great

-Listen pal, I'm not gonna sit here and argue about my preferences or what's best for my health, if you like them, use them, simple as that.

I don't care if you got tons of space, don't switch lanes and get in front of me without using your signals, it really gets under my nerves
