DONT USE SNABBIT APP SERVICE

DON’T USE SNABBIT….I booked a 28 day pack from Snabbit. 4-5 days of service were left and I get a call saying that they have to cancel my remaining days service as no experts were available, whereas I would literally see them sitting in a park right outside my apartment building in groups. I asked him that if I book in the spot will I not get an expert? And he had no answer.

So basically when I booked the pack It was cheaper rates and then elections started in Bengal, suddenly there was a surge in house help requirements and they started taking bookings at higher rates (than what I had given for my booking). Now do the math! There is nothing like loyalty of a customer for these people, they will screw you over for money! Oh one more thing, refunds are never 100% (they take ₹150 and give back ₹70, even when they cancel the service which is absolutely horrendous and crass). These people would take the clothes off, of a dead body, if it suits them! I am going back to Urban Clap, attest they have some professionalism.

Also, their experts are deliberately slow, so that the hour is passed and they can leave, they force/beg for 5 stars as it gives them some money to get a good rating even though they do below average work. I observed this for almost 20 days with different workers who came.

Lastly, they keep rambling about bad working conditions, how they have no time in between jobs to eat, use washrooms etc.

why is it so hard to find a maid who doesnt ghost

i am actually crying right now. my maid is on her 4th "urgent village trip" this month and my sink is literally sentient at this point. i tried washing the bartan myself and now my back is broken and my hands feel like sandpaper. istg i was about to just throw the plates away but a friend told me to just try snabbit. i thought it was some scam but a lady actually showed up in like 10 mins and just… cleaned? no questions, no "advance salary" drama, just did it. i think i’m done with the local maid search forever. my mental health is worth more than the extra 100 bucks.

Snabbit might just bring about a revolution in bachelors 😭

Living alone in Wakad means dishes pile up until they start growing their own ecosystem. I don't have the patience to interview maids. Booked a Snabbit "dishwashing + kitchen" slot.

₹149 spent. 45 mins of work. Sink is empty. My kitchen no longer smells like a damp forest. If you’re a lazy bachelor like me, stop living in filth and just #MakeSnabbitAHabit.

Tried Snabbit for bathroom cleaning in Wakad (Full Review)

So I’ve been an Urban Company regular for a while, but I tried Snabbit yesterday because I needed someone right then and didn't want to schedule a slot for "tomorrow morning." Honestly, the "on-demand" thing is legit. The booking was super simple, and the help also came in minutes, the quality was 5/5. The lady who came actually brought her own cleaning supplies and scrubbed the bathroom tiles until they were literally sparkling, way better than the half-hearted job my previous help did.

Just a quick pro-tip for anyone trying it out, if your place is a huge mess, don't just book for one hour. I'd suggest booking at least 2 hours so you can get them to do the fans and dusting properly too. Also, if you’re a first-timer, definitely hunt for a referral code to save some cash. It's becoming my go-to for those random deep-cleaning urges.

Is Snabbit’s "10-minute" arrival model even sustainable? My experience.

I’ve been tracking the quick-commerce scene (Zepto/Blinkit) and now Snabbit is doing it for home labor. Tried it yesterday in HSR Layout.

The app UI is snappy (iykyk, most Indian startup apps feel like they were made on a potato) and the professional arrived in 9 mins, The person was super professional and immediately got to working and finished the whole place in minutes. No "chutti" drama, no "sir, extra charge for cleaning the balcony" talks. What’s interesting is the "Pack" system. I bought the 10-hour pack because the per-hour rate drops significantly (around ₹80-90 effective). They maybe seem to be using a fixed salary + incentive model for the workers. The model seems pretty interesting to me, and my experience with the service was actually good.

My local maid is a 5/10.

I realized my regular help was just "moving the dust around." The corners of my house were basically a museum of 2024 dust.

Decided to book a Snabbit professional for 2 hours just for the "corners and fans." The difference is night and day. She used specialized brushes, moved the furniture, and actually scrubbed. Local help won’t do this unless you are a good gossip friend of the maid . With Snabbit, it’s part of the professional vibe. I'm glad I decided to stop settling, #MakeSnabbitAHabit

My maid didn't show up and had a flat inspection today

Guys, legit thought I was dead. My regular didi took a surprise holiday (classic Monday), and my landlord was coming at 11 AM to check the condition of the flat.

I saw those Snabbit ads and thought 'chalo let's try.' The lady (Seema didi) came in like 12 mins. 12 MINUTES. She cleaned the hall and kitchen so fast I'm actually questioning my regular maid's speed. Cost me barely anything, If you're in a pinch, just go for it.

10/10.#MakeSnabbitAHabit

My bathroom tiles are actually white again

I’ve lived in this flat for two years and honestly, I just accepted that my bathroom was destined to look "vintage" forever. No matter how much my regular help "cleaned" it, the grout stayed yellow and those weird hard-water stains on the corners never moved. I just blamed the city water and gave up, but then my neighbor mentioned she’s been using Snabbit for specific deep-clean tasks because she was tired of the "surface-level" wiping her maid was doing.

I decided to give it a shot yesterday for a quick bathroom and balcony scrub. The lady reached my gate in like 12 minutes, which is basically the time it takes for me to even find my cleaning supplies. I kid you not, she actually scrubbed the tile edges and behind the bucket stand, places I haven't seen clean since I moved in. It’s so satisfying to walk into a bathroom that actually smells sterile and looks sparkling. I just used an hour from their 'Power Pack' so it didn't even pinch my pocket. If you're a bit of a hygiene freak and your regular help is just "moving the dust around," honestly just stop the daily nagging and get a professional from Snabbit to do the heavy lifting once a week. It’s a total life hack for your mental health.

Don't keep waiting for your maid, just use Snabbit.

My maid hasn't come for 3 days. Normal scene in Hyderabad now. I finally downloaded Snabbit today.

Bhai, it's so much better than calling 10 different neighbors for maid numbers. Ek button dabao, verified banda ghar pe. They do everything from dishes to mopping and bathroom cleaning etc, Professionalism is top notch. If you value your time #MakeSnabbitAHabit

landlords are literal vultures istg

my landlord in gurgaon tried to keep 10k of my deposit because the kitchen chimney was "too oily." my regular maid straight up refused to touch it. i had 2 hours before my flight and i was losing it.

i booked a snabbit professional as a last resort. she reached in 12 mins and scrubbed that chimney until it was literally reflecting light. landlord came for the final check and had zero excuses to cut my money. snabbit basically paid for itself 10 times over today.

Snabbit’s "Laundry Folding" thing seems like it's made for me 😭

I don't mind washing clothes, but folding them feels like the biggest task in the world to me since I was a teen. I had a mountain of clean laundry sitting on my chair Called a Snabbit pro for 1 hour. She folded everything, color-coded, neatly stacked. My wardrobe looks sooo clean now, i used to dream about my wardrobe looking this organized😭, I'm glad Snabbit also does this niche things for people like me who have a pet peeve and like things organized but don't want to organize.

How are you guys managing house chores with these 12-hour work days? 😭

Legit question, because I was failing miserably. Between the local train commute and year-end pressure, my flat was starting to look like a godown. I tried keeping a regular maid, but the morning 7 AM doorbell was killing my sleep, and then she’d take random leaves anyway.

I finally started using Snabbit last week and honestly, it’s a game changer for my mental health. Now, I don’t worry about a fixed timing. I just book it on the app while I’m leaving the office, and by the time I reach my building, the professional is already there.

The best part is I don’t have to manage them. They come, they’re super professional, they do the dishes/mopping in like mins, and they're out. It feels so much more organized than the traditional way. I actually got a full 8 hours of sleep today because I didn't have to wake up early to let a maid in. If you’re struggling with “adulting" chores like I was, definitely give this a shot. It’s worth every rupee just for the peace of mind. #MakeSnabbitAHabbit
