is working at a company like 8ration good for career growth?

I came across 8ration and noticed they work on a variety of technologies like AI, blockchain, mobile apps, and SaaS platforms.

From a career perspective, it seems like working in such an environment could expose you to multiple domains.

But I’m wondering if that kind of broad exposure is better than specializing in one area.

For developers here, what has helped your career more?

Complexion concealer is doing more harm than good for a lot of people and nobody talks about it

Hear me out. I see so many posts where people are asking why their undereyes look cakey or creasy, or why their concealer looks worse by midday than no concealer at all. And the answer almost always comes down to one of three things: wrong undertone, too much product, or not enough prep.

The undertone thing specifically is wild because most people don't know whether their dark circles are blue-toned, purple-toned, or brown-toned. Each one actually needs a different color corrector underneath if you want concealer to neutralize rather than just pile on top.

Prep also matters more than the concealer itself. Hydrating the undereye area before application changes the texture behavior of every formula I've tried. When that area is dry or tight, literally any concealer will crease. It's not the product, it's the canvas.

If you're consistently unhappy with your concealer results, try swapping the order. Moisturizer first, wait two minutes, then a thin layer of concealer, set with a tiny bit of translucent powder pressed gently. It's boring advice but it actually works.

My local maid is a 5/10.

I realized my regular help was just "moving the dust around." The corners of my house were basically a museum of 2024 dust.

Decided to book a Snabbit professional for 2 hours just for the "corners and fans." The difference is night and day. She used specialized brushes, moved the furniture, and actually scrubbed. Local help won’t do this unless you are a good gossip friend of the maid . With Snabbit, it’s part of the professional vibe. I'm glad I decided to stop settling, #MakeSnabbitAHabit
