took a day to process this and honestly. i'm fine with the delay if it means a real global rollout

not gonna lie, when i saw the post yesterday my first reaction was just. fuck.

Wanted to book tickets for june 4 first day first show in bangalore with my entire group, had been planning this since the announcement. so yeah, gutted.

but i sat with it overnight. and the more i think about the letter the more i think this is actually the move.

- they had a june 4 date locked. would've cleaned up domestic. they're choosing not to.
- the cinemacon thing is real, look it up. variety india and sacnilk covered the 9-minute preview reaction. it wasn't just standard pr
- 'globally aligned date' means simultaneous worldwide release, which basically no major indian film has actually pulled off well
- 'toxic is complete' so this isn't a vfx issue or a reshoot issue

the kgf2 playbook was big in india, decent overseas. if toxic is going for a real worldwide simul, this is a different kind of bet.

i'll wait. take the time. just don't make us wait a year please yashanna

New to XKAH. Is my hookah tobacco supposed to look weird?

Hey everyone. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I just got my XKAH last week. Shipping took about 12 days which i guess makes sense if it’s coming from overseas maybe similar to stuff you’d find on alibaba.

Anyway i've been smoking regular hookah for like 8 years now but I'm completely new to this style of device.

I bought some blonde leaf tobacco from a local shop. Can't remember the brand name. When i opened the pack it looked really dry compared to what I'm used to in a normal bowl. Is that normal for XKAH or did I get a bad batch?

Also how much should i pack in there? I watched a few videos and some people say dense pack. Some say 9 grams. Some say 14. I tried 11 grams at 280 degrees and got almost no smoke. I tried 290 and it tasted burnt after like 4 puffs.

I'm clearly doing something wrong.

Does dark leaf work better than blonde? Do i need to mix them? Should i put the dark on top or bottom?

I'd really appreciate any help. I just wanna get one good session before I decide if i wasted my money or not.

Thanks in advance.

why is it so hard to find a maid who doesnt ghost

i am actually crying right now. my maid is on her 4th "urgent village trip" this month and my sink is literally sentient at this point. i tried washing the bartan myself and now my back is broken and my hands feel like sandpaper. istg i was about to just throw the plates away but a friend told me to just try snabbit. i thought it was some scam but a lady actually showed up in like 10 mins and just… cleaned? no questions, no "advance salary" drama, just did it. i think i’m done with the local maid search forever. my mental health is worth more than the extra 100 bucks.

Been having problems with my jet boat all summer and I’m starting to think I’ve been ignoring it too long

Bought a used jet boat two summers ago from a guy in Cardiff who swore it was in great shape. It ran fine at first, or fine enough that I didn’t ask too many questions. Last summer I started noticing it felt slower than it should, not dramatically, just that feeling where you know something isn’t quite right but you can’t point to exactly what.
Took it out on the Severn three weeks ago with my brother in law and it was noticeably worse. He’s got a similar setup and the difference between the two boats was embarrassing. Mine was sluggish off the throttle and there’s a wobble at speed that I’ve been blaming on the water conditions for longer than I should have.
Had someone look at it last week and he said the impeller is worn and probably has been for a while. Didn’t mean much to me until he explained it’s basically the thing that pushes the water and makes the boat go, and mine is damaged enough that it needs replacing.
Been pricing parts this week across a few sites, picked up some cleaning supplies for the boat while I was at it, order came to just over £100 so the £10 off every £100 spent discount that was running actually helped. Checked alibaba briefly alongside a couple of UK marine suppliers just to get a sense of the price range before deciding where to buy.
How hard is an impeller replacement to do yourself or is this a take it to someone job?
