Wanted to see if there’s any fans from 2nd gen or nah? I hv been a fan since 2012 so witnessed the prime of 2nd gen first hand.
There are many 3rd gen fans, coz literally the 2 most famous groups are from 3rd gen. So it’s a given.
But it’s very rare to see 2nd gen fans in the Indian community tbh. I mean it’s not a bad thing since kpop became popular in India only around 2019-20 during peak covid.
Regardless it would be nice to know if we hv any like minded older fans in here.
i wish wish wish so much that i had made enough money by now to at least go to the BTS concert. ive been a fan since 2016, when blood, sweat and tears blew up. went though my whole journey of school, the jee era and then engg to job but bts were a constant. album after album my admiration for them went from shallow to deep. i just wish i had the opportunity to see them live once, just once, i will def cherish that forever. i know they will continue to make music after this but touring is not simple, it requires huge logistics, even the members might not agree as they too want to grow in other areas of life too. i also dont want them to be tied to one thing forever and feel suffocated. im happy they got the break and are back fresh. i just know if they will go for a tour again and that uncertainity is deeply saddening. now just watching these clips from encore stages are so endearing! hope everything works out in the end and i just get rich enough to not care if they come to india or not and just fly to wherever the next stage is happening! so yeah, see ya guys too at the concert!
Damn it, last time it was Suho and now Woochan. Whenever some idols come to India, we always miss it. I envy the lucky ones who just get to meet them and don't even know who they met.
Accompanied my sibling as a gaurdian for the Hybe Pop Up today. The venue was Inorbit Mall but the arrangement was made outside in sweltering heat. We had to stand in the afternoon sun for 1 hour, even though we arrived way before time. After the long wait they said only people under 20 get passports. Everything was overcrowded and extremely mismanaged. We left feeling dehydrated and disappointed. I hope they do a better job in other cities but Mumbai’s Hybe Pop up park was not it.
SOO after a fellow Redditor who had extra tickets gave me the tickets me and my friend today went to the hybe popup park
First of all the event started at 4
So I went in to take the wrist band by 3:45 and there was already a big ass line
I saw previously that Passports Were being given to every attendee so when I showed the guy my ticket I asked for the passport and he just said no saying they weren’t giving it to boys !!!!!
Like seriously , I pleaded to the guy saying the passport thingy was important for me but he said that The management had counted the passports and won’t be giving it to the boys , I was honestly pissed off and in the end just let it go
Once I came inside I saw two boys around my age carrying their passports ( had an internal breakdown watching that )
Then we’re the stalls inside the event
Queue for the ramen 45 minutes ( ramen was just two bites and it was shite watery tasting )
Queue for the ramen spin wheel 1 hour
At this point I was already dizzy from all the massive heatwave ( it was a open fucking ground )
Then came the most fucking annoying thing
I was fricking waiting in the line for almost 2 and a half hours for the KIA stall
And when we’re about to go in there was a stampede like situation cuz people were making new lines
And a volunteer came up to us started screaming at us when we were the actual ones who were standing in the correct queue
It was a whole damn mess and then They started saying that they have ran out of merch so we just gave up and started to look out for other stalls after Wasting 3 hours for nothing
Then we went for the photo booth it was nice
And the H And M photo stall it was good line took 25 minutes each approx
DJ and performances by outstation and other artist were damn good and I missed out on the outstation groups performance because we were standing in the Kia stalls line for motherfukcing 3 hours
ALSO NO HYBE MERCHS WERE AVAILABLE EXCEPT ARIRANG BTS ALBUM
I was a bit disappointed at that too
Overall a 4/10 experience
So earlier I had taken advice from you guys on where to buy BTS's Arirang album from. Now I need your help in deciding which version to get. I'm confused between these two versions
- Living legend
- Rooted in music
The prices don't have that much of a difference and I might get a freebie with rooted in music version.

i had fun but idk how to feel about it. i was expecting more fun activities but it was just pop quiz and rpd. plus even the artists mentioned during these were limited, when i know hybe has even more artists 😭 AND THE MERCH OMFG I WAS SO PISSEDDDDD i was expecting atleast some artist related merch BUT IT WAS HYBE RELATEDJEJKFJEKF MAN shit was so sad BUT it was very fun. to be in the vicinity of so many fans. it was nice. i just feel like they could have done better. the performances were FIREEEE OMG and the MCs were also very good with whatever they were doing.
