Made for the recent Australian Discworld Convention (Nullus Anxietas X).

Patches designed by me & made by a couple of friends with embroidery machines. T-shirt designed by me & printed via Redbubble.

(I want to redo the "GNU STP" one - it was my first time using the software & I didn't know exactly what I was doing...)

Sharing My First TRUE Battle Vest!

This thing has been a WIP for about 5 years now. Keep telling myself that it’s finally finished, and the I get another patch or find something new to add to it. The themeing with this was to do black/white & red.

The next step for this vest is probably to fill out the gaps on top and left/right sides of the back with studs and spikes.

Finished leather synthwave piece

Having a really hard time capturing the colors, it looks much better in person - but I finished this hand painted leather synthwave piece in time for the Master Boot Record show next week!

Which font?

My partner told me about how in Japan people will put knuckle tattoo writing on the cuff. I want to embroider Land Back but I'm wondering what y'all think would be the best font.

Still collecting some patches and have to figure out the rest of sleeve layout. I'll also be filling in the empty spaces on the back with some gunmetal studs. Just recently got that limited edition Blue Eyes White dragon Figpin, perfect for this jacket.

Start of my midlife crisis jacket, undecided on the visible stitching, yay or nay?

Always wanted a battle jacket, so decided to make one. Even found some of my old patches from 20+ years ago. Thought doing green stitching for green lung would work. But I'm on the fence. What's your opinions? Yay or nay?

Also hand sewn Vs machine? I could easily machine sew all the patches, but a part of me says they should all be hand sewn. It's been a trip picking up needle and thread again, thankfully my mum is a damn good...seamstress? Sewer? Person who faffs about with embroidery/stitching/fabrics.

Anti Reform UK Patch. A British Politics version of my Anti Maga patch.

The elections this week were horrendous.

We're in for a nightmare come next General Elections.

Anti Reform UK patch. For those of us sick of the racism, the lies and their followers.

You can get it on my website or my Etsy as per usual.

A few new patches I made today! I'm on a bit of an anti-Reform UK thing at the minute if you couldn't tell.

These are some of my favourites I've done in a while. It's been ages since I had a bit of time to really go through the to-do list of patches and get some of them done.

As always, you can get them at www.socialrebellionpatches.com

Or go to my Linktree if you want to give me a follow on IG or look at what else I do. :)

Looking for creative ideas for either removing the vinyl, defacing it in some way, or just covering it with patches?

Bought this cute little black crop denim for $10.00 only to realize it has this horseshit on it. I'm Trans so the HP shit ain't gonna fly

Now I can't decide if I want to try and remove it cleanly, patch over the vinyls (thinking some Celtic tree/knot stuff maybe), or get creative with stencils/paint/decals to deface the existing branding.

The jackets too nice to abandon and I didn't give that bitch any money for it as it was thrifted. And it's cute as hell aside from the obvious trash decals.

Help Me Choose

Tapestry jacket goes hard with the hell back patch, but tbh that patch would look good on almost anything, whereas I kind of feel like I’ll never find a better place to put the flower skull.

My jacket I've been adding to for a bit now

Got this denim jacket off my older brother but me and him kinda fell out so I decided to properly make it my own

Appreciation for my retired jacket

So this was the first ever jacket I had worked on for a couple years in my late teens when I really got into the metal genre and started going to shows both bigger and more local. Some of the patches are from those, others I personally bought online (like my cattle decap back patch after seeing them live), and some that I feel stand out like a sore thumb (because of the amazon quality, I'm sure you can see em) were gifted to me from well-meaning family and I felt like sewing them on was important because of that. I distressed and hand stitched everything myself, and modified it to my liking. I'm proud of all the time and care I put into it then, and all the memories I have with it. It's been retired though, and maybe I'll start another someday. I figured it would be nice to share it here though because maybe you'll take some ideas from it for your own project. Enjoy 🤘

My first battle vest

A pretty eclectic mix of mainstream / dark wave / goth industrial musicians. It might look random to some but echoes my music tastes and a lot of my favorite groups.

This one is from a few years ago. Found the jacket at the thrift store, cut the sleeves off and gathered all my black/white/red patches. This is the first time I used all contrasting thread and I worked hard on the stitching. Mixed up the eras with a lot of my favorites.
