Battle hats.

Over the last few years I've picked up some inexpensive trucker hats and sewed my own patches on. Happy with the way these came out.

This one is from a few years ago. Found the jacket at the thrift store, cut the sleeves off and gathered all my black/white/red patches. This is the first time I used all contrasting thread and I worked hard on the stitching. Mixed up the eras with a lot of my favorites.

I put this together a few years back. Wanted to pay tribute to a lot of the bands from my youth that really meant something to me. The focus was more on hard rock here than metal.

Hey, found the group recently and wanted to share some of my stuff. This is the original vest I created in the 80s that I have continually added on to. Bought the Priest patch in the 80s at the beach in Maryland. Bought the Slayer and Venom patches on my first trip to Zig Zag records in New York from Bobby Gustafson (Overkill). I did the painting on the back of local band Deuce who are friends of mine. The original guitarist was Marty Friedman before I met them in the mid-80s. Front has a lot of British patches that I bought back then from a store near Baltimore called Music Machine. Riot patch was an 80s mail order. Anvil, Raven, Maiden Powerslave and Witchcraft were all bought at the gigs. Buttons are all Iron Maiden 80s mall purchases.
