On my first trip out (38 MTF)

Between jobs so Im on a trip to visit my life long best friend and his partner in Victoria B.C.

I've done the whole trip "out" and presenting and I've had an amazing time.

My friends have been so supportive, I haven't been misgendered once, and there's so many trans people here (sorry girls, I DID clock you, but I suspect you clocked me)

Anyways, just wanted to throw out some feel good news. We can do this. We can be us. We can live our lives and we can love it.

Looking for creative ideas for either removing the vinyl, defacing it in some way, or just covering it with patches?

Bought this cute little black crop denim for $10.00 only to realize it has this horseshit on it. I'm Trans so the HP shit ain't gonna fly

Now I can't decide if I want to try and remove it cleanly, patch over the vinyls (thinking some Celtic tree/knot stuff maybe), or get creative with stencils/paint/decals to deface the existing branding.

The jackets too nice to abandon and I didn't give that bitch any money for it as it was thrifted. And it's cute as hell aside from the obvious trash decals.

I've been socially transitioning for 3 months (still waiting on HRT RIP) but finally went and got a haircut and no longer feel like I need to wear my "emotional support beanie" and that's amazing. I have a thin crown so I want to grow it out to be able to do a side part shoulder length messy look but we had to get rid of the helmet head.

I messaged my barber (who is gone to as masc for 10 years) and told him I was out and if he's recommend a female stylist in his shop (he's the owner/manager). And his response killed me "your my client, I cut all hair, I got you".

I went down and he was so nice and I was so nervouse I was shaking like 15 minutes in and he just put his arm around me and leaned over and was like "hey you okay? I got you, don't worry girl we'll get you looking cute" and that just about killed me.

Anyways I think he did a great job ane it was one of the most powerful social interactions I've had yet.

Afterwards he was like "hey you got a good look going, we don't want to cut this again for like another 6 months but I can't wait to see how you've come along by then". Kill me. What a sweetheart

So I've been socially transitioning for about 3 months, I live in a very queer friendly neighborhood, and I've noticed I pretty much meet a new young bisexual AFAB woman every night I go out.

At first I was like "oh wow a lot of young women are bi now" and then I realized, when I presented male you just weren't sending a "safe" signal. But as an "obviously somewhat clockable" trans woman, despite my age (38), it's like a neon sign that says "Hey girl I'm safe, tell me your secrets".

There's a way to construe this as a negative, but honestly, I kind of love this "super power"? It's actually made it very easy to meet people (as friends) but just very very unexpected. And they've all been wonderful people to talk too.

I actually made my first real friend in my apartment building last night by invoking this power.

Anyways, anyone else noticed this?

I decided to make a hinge profile and"get out there" and Christ on a crutch I have more game in my left big toe then most men.

It's pulling teeth.

What is this? I am transparent about my transness but get matches from "Christian, not political" constantly and they'll open with one banter line and then turn into a bot.

Even the less obvious bad actors literally can't communicate, like it's anyone sided information extraction. It's depressing. Like soul crushingky depressing. It's not hard to be a human.
