Recently at MOODI handing over party, a newly appointed MOODI CG sexually harassed a Co-CG in drunken state. The MOODI team convinced the girl to compromise and be done with just impeaching that CG but more actions should have been taken against that CG. Usually this matter would be taken to gender cell but just for the image of MOODI this matter had been suppressed. This is totally unacceptable, allegedly touching the breasts (not sure of the specifics). These types of people should be removed from the institute to create a safer environment. What the fuck is going on in MOODI, once a respected fest! The guy is roaming around freely without any repercussions!

Mood Indigo is supposed to be about culture, talent, and "moods." Apparently, the current "mood" is sexual harassment and institutional silencing.

A newly appointed CG thought his position gave him the right to lay hands on a colleague. He didn't just cross a line; he demolished it.

But instead of facing the law, he’s getting a slap on the wrist.

The MOODI Team’s Logic:

Assault happens? : Impeach him quietly.

Victim is traumatized? : Tell her to compromise.

The Institute’s reputation?: PROTECT IT AT ALL COSTS.

This isn't just about one drunk guy; it’s about a toxic inner circle that protects its own.

They are treating a criminal offense like a minor administrative error. Impeachment is for bad management; jail is for sexual offenders.

Who is this guy? Why is his name being protected? If you have information, it's time to speak up. The "prestige" of IITB is already gone if this is how we treat our women.

hello everyone, so basically I met a guy very coincidentally and went to prom with him, started liking him, spoke to him and ruined everything, tried to save our friendship by asking him to meet again and again so that could make it back to normal but everytime he told he is busy, felt bad, texted him earlier, that day also, after talking for sometime he left my msg on seen, thought I will never msg again but yes, i msgd again , asked him to go somewhere, he told he is busy, i felt bad again... i deleted his number so that I don't msg him again, he is on my insta too but can't remove him bcz he will think I'm so childish... I feel some pain in my chest , it wasn't even one week meeting him, felt some connection and ruined everything by telling him and trying to convince him.

Ive fucked around a lot, basically everything in college. Im fine with it now after a year. I have my money, im graduating and its not like i need anybody. I think people underestimate their own value here and how much determination they can have for themselves. I have the highest CTC in my department, yeah narrow me down bitch, im telling you it doesn't matter. I am not even going to my own welfie or wtv tf it's called because I'm concise and I'm fine with it.

Gotta find or create your own happiness. I've lost people dead and alive but it doesn't matter and it wont matter because nobody cares. I'll be graduating with 0 friends and just disappearing. I did it on my own and for my own sake. This college is just a titleholder for everyone.

Idea: every 3 years a committee (appointed by the govt) does an holistic audit of constituency to find all the loop holes in govt offices and institutions like govt hospitals , govt schools etc in that constituency as an eco system of governance

And try to study and find points that are weak in the system, and problematic officials , system failure reasons in that constituency:

Then the committee creates a proposal, by making a new additional accountability path, if there is any negligence or corruption,

the committee links the employees to hold them accountable of each other, even from different departments if needed, and also involve active citizens , lawyers, NGO s if needed.

And these details we will be available publicly on govt platforms.

The committee creates a proposal of custom rules for each constituency , with even official specific rules and also consequences they have to face, after studying the constituency holistically and a micro GO is created to enforce these rules for the next 1 year

(The custom rules are additional to existing rules not a replacement )

Committee does an audit for 2 - 3 months in each constituency and is supposed to show the results.

Hi guys I am in 3rd year right now and have secured a good GATE AIR < 100, will be joining for Mtech CSE in 2027.

I have 2 back(both in MCAT, forgot to give once and other time my browser glitched) and a 8.57 cgpa, will this affect my chances for placement?(I have cleared 1 back and got A+ grade in that, the other one I will clear in next year)

Or am I good.

Or can I collect more backs? : )

(the backs are not me just being lazy, I had some personal/family issues which lasted from 1st - 3rd year, but I dont want to explain that to an interviewer.)

Y'all would've gotten this mail regarding the new End-Sem exam rules:

Following are the key changes which are being implemented from this end semester examination: 

* Students need to reach atleast fifteen minutes before the start of the examination and occupy their respective seats ten minutes before the examination starts. Entry to the examination hall after 30 minutes of start of the exam is not allowed.

* No entry will be allowed without original ID card.

* No bags, notes, papers or books will be allowed inside the examination building. Only essential material like pen, pencil, scale, eraser etc., will be allowed. In case of any open book examination, only the required material, with the instructor's consent, can be carried inside the examination building.

* Do not carry mobiles, smart watches or any electronic gadgets in the examination building.

* If any of the items mentioned in point no. 3 and 4, are carried by the student, they will be kept outside the examination building at owner's own risk. It is advised to leave all aforementioned items at hostel room itself, before entering into the examination building.

* Random frisking will be done by security present in the examination venues.

* The possession of answer sheets before or after the examination at any place outside the examination hall will be considered as an offence.

What doesn't make sense is the rule not allowing bags into the exam building. Like, I can understand not allowing bags into the exam hall/room, but instead they are saying that they are not allowed into the examination building (eg- LHC Complex, etc) ! And that if I carry a bag, it will have to be kept outside examination building at "owner's own risk".

How am I supposed to carry my calculator, pens, water bottle (, and for some exams, Formula Sheets) for the exams now? Can anyone clarify this??? Does the GSAA have any say in this?

Why is it that the cycle shop near H3 is charging money to fill air in tyres, earlier it used to be free of cost. Why has it changed now?Atleast these facilities should be provided free

so for context, im currently prepping for jee and agle saal dene wala hu.

i have a chem teacher who’s passed out from iitb relatively quite recently in 2017 and he keeps on telling us stuffs in class ki how it is in iitb and tries to motivate us ki mehnat karo and all. he often tells us that it’s not like baki colleges kharab hai but iitb is iitb you wont get an environment, the students, the professors like there anywhere else. abhi jitni mehnat karni hai karlo baadme 4 saal pura aaram toh nahi hoga but you’ll spend your 4 years in a very good place where you yourself would wanna try out new things. extra curriculares ki koi kami nahi iitb mein you wanna play sports or video games or singing acting kuch bhi there are dedicated clubs and all waha pe bohot se log extracurriculares ko hi bohot pursue karte hai and this is smth which is like you wont get in any other college.

i just wanted to know from yall not ki how much of this is true but how would you describe your life there as compared to my sir and unhone jo sab bataya.
