Pet loss grief meetings

I don't want to hear any judgement, please. Just a yes or no or any kind of advice. I am wondering if anyone knows of any pet loss grief in person meetings that are held in the dfw area, or general grief meetings where I wouldn't be laughed at for showing up crying about my cat. Talking one on one with someone or attending something virtual does not sound helpful. I want to get out of my house, and be around people who know what I'm feeling. If anyone knows anything about something like this please let me know. Thank you

Already a down vote lol. I knew I shouldn't have posted this. God forbid people reach out when they need help.

Some Dallas neighborhoods are seeing homes sit for 300+ days right now (Mar 22–28 data)

I was looking through Dallas County housing data from last week (Mar 22–Mar 28) and noticed some pretty big differences depending on the neighborhood.

A few areas where inventory is stacking up the most right now:

  • Stonehaven (Seagoville) — 38 listings | ~$300k–$350k | ~29 days on market
  • Dalview Estates (Dallas) — 25 listings | ~2 days on market (moving fast)
  • Bayside (Rowlett) — 23 listings | ~167 days on market with price drops
  • Elk Hill (Dallas) — 21 listings | ~313 days on market
  • Prestonwood (Dallas) — 20 listings | ~22 days on market

What stood out to me:

  • Some areas are still moving quickly, especially around the $300k range
  • Other neighborhoods are seeing homes sit for months (even close to a year)
  • Price drops seem more common in the slower-moving pockets

Feels like the market isn’t slowing evenly… it really depends on the area and price range.

I pulled a full list of the top 25 neighborhoods with the most inventory for the week… happy to share it here if anyone wants to see it.

Curious what people are seeing around Dallas right now — are homes sitting longer in your area?

Trying to sell 2 tickets to the Lakers - Mavs game on Sunday

I have two tickets for the Lakers Mavs game on Sunday. I can’t go and I want them gone quickly.

I bought them $170 each ( does not include Ticketmaster fees).

I am willing to sell them for $140. Obviously I don’t care about the Ticketmaster fee.

They are in section 302, row B as shown above

Please DM me if interested

Texas Congressman's birthright citizenship comments raise constitutional process questions

Rep. Keith Self’s (TX-03) comments come as birthright citizenship is being discussed again at the Supreme Court. The debate itself isn’t new—but the bigger issue is how something like this would actually be changed.

This focuses on current law, the arguments on both sides, and why the constitutional process matters just as much as the policy outcome.

Fort Worth Bexley Left Bank

Moving to the area and thinking of signing tonight. Have lived in both downtown Boston and Chicago in the past. Based on the photos, this place looks awesome. Similar to Deco but without the pricetag.

However, I have seen some pretty horrible reviews about the staff, parking issues, etc., wondering if this is just common everywhere? I have looked at similar options, and they all have reviews that are questionable when it comes to parking and safety.

Where is a safe place to live? Do I have to pay Deco prices to feel comfortable?

The George at Clearfolk looks promising, but kind of older building and more expensive for fewer amenities. I was looking at the Vickery as well, but parking there may be a concern as it is on the side of the highway.

Thanks all in advance!

Birthright citizenship debate reaches North Texas through TX-03

The birthright citizenship debate is back nationally, but it’s also playing out locally through Rep. Keith Self’s recent comments. He described it as “exploitation,” which has raised questions about how that applies to people who already have citizenship.

This breaks down the legal side and the process required to change it, not just the politics around it.
