Hey Guys, got a brand new 2026 cbr650r and rode it for 1-2 miles. Is this noise normal after coming to a stop?

This my very first motorcycle but I have ridden before in the past on my cousins motorcycle.

The side stickers do not bother me but the eyebrows for some reason...

Evotech tail tidy, was way harder than my CBR500R but well worth it. You have to take off almost the entire back half fairings to do this. 2 hour job. Had a bunch of extra bolts and stuff I didn’t use but I think its because its not a USA product and prob fits better with European models. Everything fits tight and bolts right up. Had to drill my license plate to be able to bolt it on the tail tidy but not worried about that.

Hi just a post that may help someone with regards to installing these small wing mirrors. I got mine off eBay for like £13, and used the OEM mirror base to mount them.

Remove the old mirror from the old mirror base, drill out the OEM base from underneath with a 10mm drill bit about 20/30mm enough to countersink the head of the cap head so it doesn’t protrude.

The new mirrors come with bases which are too big so remove the actual mirror from the base, and re-using the cap head which came with this mirror put it through the bottom of the OEM base and thread in. The new mirror is M6 thread so it will pass straight through the OEM base as it is an M8 thread.

Any questions feel free to ask, just saved from buying expensive winglet mirrors, by mixing the OEM and some eBay cheap ones without needed to print or buy an ugly 10/20mm spacer

It’s brand new I put the first mile on it ..Coming off a klx300 this thing is a beast ..
and it rides so much smoother at highway speeds .the wife isn’t too happy about it

Only started trying to get this thing up on one wheelie a couple weeks ago and wow the progress so far has been rewarding.

I tried a reverse shift pattern after putting on aftermarket rear sets however the quickshifter didn't seem to be working properly. The gas seems to be dropping(?) based on the sound from the engine even tho I'm not closing the throttle on upshifts (down press), which you will see in this video. Bike is Eclutch, not sure if that's relevant. It's been put back to standard shift since as the Honda mechanic doesn't know what to do either. I'm just curious if anyone here understands what's happening and what the fix is if there is even one.

Haven’t had a bike for 3 years and pulled the trigger on a new one. Love the e-clutch on this thing!

Put the T-Rex racing swing arm spool adapters on so I can take off the wheel for maintenance. Does it matter that it isn’t perfectly centered in the track stand? I mean you can tell the right side is slightly more forward than the left. It’s much better than it was, but I’ve been chasing it for about an hour. Should I keep chasing? Or send it?
