[AU] Restricted account I’m going to lose my mind
Set up a revolut account seperate from my main bank so I can receive payid transfers when I sell stuff on marketplace etc. Sold a motorcycle for $10,000 received the money no problem. A week later I tried to spend $8,000 on a different bike and bam, restricted my account. The poor guy I bought the bike off of told me to just take it and transfer once they unlocked it. Unfortunately we both didn’t know it was going to take days. It’s been 2 days so far and still getting the generic “we’re working to get this resolved”, “we will notify you the moment there is an update”. I read on a different thread that it could take up to 3 weeks so I’m seriously considering just dropping the bike back to him with a some money to apologise for the mishap. Keep in mind I have legitimately 10 transfers on this account so do not understand how it could possibly take so long to review an account. Anyone have similar experiences and can share an eta, or a way to escalate it to get my money unrestricted asap.
