Used motorcycles at dealerships pricing unreasonable
Hello everyone I was hoping to get some insight regarding purchasing a used motorcycle at a dealership. I've been looking for the better part of a year or so now for a used Honda CBR650R before last resort buying new. I am deadset on this bike. They seem to be exceptionally hard to find both at dealerships or off of Facebook marketplace. When I do find some off of Facebook they are asking for MSRP and won't budge.
I just came across a used 2024 model at a dealership and they are asking for $9500 before adding on their additional fees and taxes. I told the guy it's pretty ridiculous because at this point why wouldn't I just go get a new 2026 model that MSRP for $9200. They told me that I'm free to walk away, I also know that bike has been sitting there for months.
I could kind of understand if out the door they were willing to do the price they are asking for, but that's also not even a thought to them. I know the solution is to just walk away, I just think it's a little annoying how dense they can be.
And it's not like people are fighting for this bike because it's been sitting there for half a year.

Maybe there is something I'm not taking into consideration?
