We are an independent two-person team based in France, working on a tabletop roleplaying game we have been developing for several years. The setting blends medieval folklore, gothic horror, and apocalyptic dark fantasy. Playtesting is ongoing, the manuscript is well underway, and we are preparing a Kickstarter campaign followed by a full commercial release in print and digital. This is a serious long-term project, not a hobby publication, and illustration is a central pillar of the work.

We intend to treat the artists we collaborate with as genuine creative partners, in terms of recognition, fair compensation, and creative freedom.

We are now opening paid commissions and would love to hear from artists whose work resonates with the direction we are building.

The visual direction

We are looking for painterly dark fantasy with a strong sense of atmosphere, weight, and physicality. The reference images attached give the clearest sense of the direction. If your work feels close to this register, in mood, tone, or approach, we want to hear from you.

The references are credited to their respective artists and shown as illustrations of the direction we are looking for, not for copying: Dariusz Kieliszek, Artem Demura, Antonio J. Manzanedo, and Ivan Klimenko.

Scope and budget

We will be commissioning a range of pieces across the book. Our starting budget per piece, for full commercial license:

- Spot illustrations: from €100

- Half-page interior pieces: from €200

- Full-page interior pieces: from €400

- Cover: from €800

These are baseline figures. Final rates are negotiated individually based on the artist's portfolio, experience, and the scope of the specific piece. We are happy to go higher for work that justifies it. Funds are secured and available now, independently of the Kickstarter campaign.

Licensing

All work is commissioned under an exclusive commercial license covering the book, crowdfunding campaign, marketing, merchandise, and any future licensed adaptations of the game. You retain copyright and moral rights in accordance with French law, the right to display the piece in your portfolio, the right to share and use it for self-promotion on your social media and personal channels, and the right to sell physical prints to collectors. The exclusivity only restricts licensing the same work to other commercial projects. Credit is guaranteed in the book and across all promotional uses.

Payment by PayPal or bank transfer, whichever suits you best.

Long-term collaboration

This is the first book of what we hope will be a long-term universe, with supplements, expansions, and further projects to come. Artists we connect with on this first wave are the artists we would love to keep working with as the world grows.

I am looking for someone to draw my two LARP OCs. I haven't ventured into the art community for a while so I couldn't think of any specific artists, however, the style I am looking for is something somewhat like these Picrews I found (but a full body pose).

I do have references with specific outfits, however, they are photos of myself, so I will probably only send them in DMs for privacy purposes :)

I would like just a flat full body sketch + colour of both with a simple pose!

And a bit of a trigger warning: one of the characters I have done body art to look more emaciated/skeletal (as she is a zombie). This may be uncomfortable to see for some people, but is important for the reference, so please pass on this one if it'd be upsetting.

Budget: My country's dollar is really weak right now compared to USD, so I don't really want to go above 42USD total, but could stretch up to 45-50.

hey all! I recently got into commissions after receiving a burst of engagement on Twitter, I'm feeling confident about my work and would love to at least be able to get verified on VGen to get a steadier flow of commissions to afford rent and bills for the coming months. I have a couple services, most of which you can view on VGen, but I'll note them here with image examples too :)

My prices are as follows:

Coloured Sketch:

• Headshot/bust – 60+ GBP
• Half body/thigh up – 80+ GBP
• Full body – 100+ GBP

Rendered Character:

• Headshot/bust – 70+ GBP
• Half body/thigh up – 100+ GBP
• Full body – 130+ GBP

Chibi:

• Base price - 120+ GBP

Sizes will vary depending on design/how much I want to draw of the character/what looks best in the provided canvas space. If you paid for a half body/thigh up, the artwork will cut off at some point between the waist and thighs, and a headshot/bust will cut off between the neck and chest. Full bodies will have no cut off.

Additional add-ons for the artwork can be requested and the prices listed below will be added to the base price of the commission. These are priced based on my skills at drawing specific add-ons, and each add-on may cost more depending on complexity. Please check my VGen services for specifics per commission type!

Disclaimers

• Base price may not be the price that you end up with! The price may increase depending on the design complexity, add-ons and fees from Vgen and Paypal.
• An additional fee will be added if you have a deadline for me to hit. My base deadline is a MAX of 3 months after the commission has been officially accepted, so if you need the artwork before those 3 months (though it’s likely it wouldn’t take this long) or as a priority piece, please be aware that this will increase the price of the commission and will be more expensive the closer the date is to the deadline.
• If you require a large revision once the artwork is completed it will require a fee.
• Artwork can only be used for advertisement, streaming assets and content creation if you have paid the Monetisation License fee. You must credit me wherever and whenever the artwork is used regardless of this fee.
• Artwork can only be sold as merch or profited from if you have paid the Commercial Merch fee. You must credit me wherever and whenever the artwork is used regardless of this fee.
• If you do not pay either of these fees and require the artwork only for personal use, please still credit me! Under no circumstances must my artwork not be credited.

Looking for an artist to create 5 individual pieces for the 5 character's for my friends in my D&D party. The party consists of a Tortle, Sea Elf, Fey Elf, Orc, and a Gnome. I'm looking for semi-realism/cartoonish style with light shading for each of the individual pieces. See below for details of rough designs for each of them and some reference images for some details. Simple plain coloured background for individual pieces.

Very willing to work with an artist with posing, detail changes, and happy to provide more information/details to an artist. Also looking to have all 5 characters put together on one large piece with a simple background, but the individual characters are more important than a a group one.

Looking for someone to draw my dungeon meshi oc, Kita! They’ve been a concept character for a long time and I really want to start using them for things. I’ve tried drawing them myself but I haven’t drawn furries in a very very long time so I’m a little rusty, and have never drawn armor before so they’re gonna look SOOO rough until I actually take the time to learn… so why not have someone else do it in the meantime lol.

Above I have a couple references. First two is my own art. Images 3-5 are the art style of the anime they’re from. Last image is an art style I like, just for reference and such.

I’d like them drawn in dungeon meshi style but I’m open to alternative styles as well. Semi-realistic or realistic preferred! Again though, I’m pretty open.

- Art of Kita and Laios interacting and being cute together because I love them

I don’t really know how much this sort of thing goes for, but I’ll say my budget is $100 per piece since a budget is required in my post.
