No idea what this is. It’s bendy and has two solid rods ending in points on either side.

Came home from work and saw this on my doorknob. it feels different from the normal black spots and it's only on the doorknob and not the Deadbolt above it. This showed up sometime between yesterday morning and today. Should I be concerned?

I saw this in our old barn. I found the same markings on another window, in the same spot. What is it?

This was behind a baseboard in an 1910 house. No power to it when found. Appears to have had an entry hole on finished side of baseboard.

I collect angel skin coral and recently purchased this item and the description said it was Chinese. it’s connected with a red string with gold colored chains with beads at the end, I’d love to know around when it was made and what it’s for

• Forme : Creux, arrondi, pas d’ouverture en bas, taille 8 cm dans sa plus grande longueur,6 cm de large, environ 3 cm de hauteur, diamètre du creux : 4 cm.
• Contexte : Trouvé en France, probablement des années 1950-60. Pas de marque visible.
• Hypothèses déjà explorées : Culot de lampe à pétrole, porte-bougie, support de mèche pour réchaud à alcool, verrerie de laboratoire – rien ne correspond parfaitement.

Hey all, do we do ‘what is this poop?’ posts here? Found this very juicy pile in my garage today (coastal southern New England). I have had problems with both rats and mice before but their scat were always of the predictable dry-pellets-in-a-scattered-trail variety. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I worry about health risks, so would like to abate promptly. But what am I abating? Thanks!

Any help in identifying this, top part is brass bottom steel. Short piece 8”, long piece 10”. It weighs three pounds. Any help appreciated. Thanks

It is leaned up against something behind it so I don’t think it’s supposed to stand alone. Maybe a topper for a dresser? It’s probably a little over 2 feet tall. Idk please help I’m dying to know
