Painting identification- I got this from a basement a few years ago and curious if it has a background

I worked for this asshole opthalmologist for a while and he for some reason let me go through a part of the basement and I took this home. I liked the frame and I guess overall feel for it. The back is nailed shut, I have a toddler so it is difficult to remove the backing with him running around. Curious if anyone has any info?

Pine identification
