Hello, how can i bypass the uber eats certificate motor insurance, i dont want to pay 30 days insurance i want to pay PAYG but they wont accept the policy schedule or enrolment letter.
Thank you
How do I get my money back for an order that hasn't arrived?
I ordered a kebab that was supposed to arrive by 23:00. I called the store at 23:10 and they said they were busy and it would take some time.
I called them again at 23:30 and they're shut.
I can't find anywhere in the app to report that food hasn't been delivered.

Uber Eats UK background check stuck on “Consider” – anyone else had this?
Hi everyone,
I’m honestly stuck and could use some advice.
I’ve done the Uber Eats background check application 5 times in the last 2 weeks, and every single time the result comes back as “Consider” on my Right to Work check.
I’ve been uploading my British passport as my right-to-work document, but it keeps getting flagged. Here’s what’s confusing me:
I contacted Uber support → they didn’t really help
I contacted First Advantage:
One agent said British passport is NOT acceptable
Another agent said it IS acceptable
For the first few attempts, they said my passport image wasn’t clear enough
This last time, I double-checked the exact same image with them before uploading, and they confirmed it was perfectly clear… but still got “Consider” again
I also tried Yoti support, but didn’t get any useful help there either
At this point I don’t even know what’s wrong:
Is it actually the passport?
Is it something wrong with the system?
Or am I missing something obvious?
Has anyone else in the UK had this issue with Uber Eats / First Advantage?
If you did, how did you fix it?
Any advice would help a lot because I’m just going in circles now.
Thanks 🙏
Customer downvotes
I've just been having a lengthy chat with someone who states that, where you are downvoted without a reason underneath, it is because Uber has issued a refund due to something the driver has done, and issued the downvote themselves!
Opinions please.
What’s your delivery vehicle ? And what’s your strategy?
I used to do deliveries on an e-bike, and I’d usually accept orders between £3.00–£5.00. Anything higher than that often didn’t feel worth it.
Recently, I switched to a 125cc scooter, and my strategy changed—I started aiming for £6–£7+ orders. But I’m starting to realise that these higher-paying orders often take me really far out (basically middle of nowhere), and even though it’s less physically tiring than cycling, the time it takes to travel there and then get back to a busy restaurant area makes it less efficient overall.
So now I’m questioning whether those bigger orders are actually better, or if they just look better on the surface.
What’s your strategy—would you go for fewer long-distance, higher-paying orders, or stick with more frequent, shorter, lower-paying ones?
