I want to help my friend who has a sex addiction actually overcome it. I know they want to change, they ve told me they dont like it and I saw them come out on top of it for a while but now i feel like they are setting themselves up for failure.

Anyway, I was thinking of doing either a banishing spell, or maybe use a jar same way you would in a protection spell and have the jar absorb all the impulses, triggers etc. what do you suggest?

Hi, I’m a baby witch and I’m a bit confused about where people actually find spells. I see loads on TikTok, but I don’t really trust them. It just feels like anyone can post anything and as a beginner I have no way of knowing if it’s legit or not. I’ve tried looking at books as well, but a lot of them either feel really outdated, super complicated, or don’t actually explain things properly. It’s more like background info instead of “do this, then this”. So yeah, I’m just wondering, where do you guys get your spells from? Do you follow certain books or websites, or do you just make your own? I don’t wanna mess anything up or follow something random that isn’t safe, so any advice would be really appreciated :)

I am a new witch, and want to get started with candle magic. I've noticed that in a lot of spells I've seen, they require the candle to be cleansed with incense. I won't be able to do this, as I live with a roommate. Is there a way to cleanse a candle, and to cleanse in general without having to burn anything?

I just posted about a freezer spell on a person I love, but I need more options. I love this person, but they’re an asshole. I love him but I can’t stay with him. I know trying to do spells to get him to treat me right aren’t worth it, all that “manipulation of free will” talk. But no matter how bad I want to leave I convince myself to stay. I give in to his apologies, the lies he tells to keep me. If anything, I feel like a spell was done on me. Like my free will to leave has been manipulated. No matter how angry, disgusted, anxious I get I just go back to hoping it’ll change, that he’ll change. Even if he is trying to be better, I’m not healed from his past actions and it’s a very weak effort on his behalf if any at all to repair the damage.

What the hell am I supposed to do. I’ve only ever done protection spells, and if you ask me I’m not feeling like I’m being kept from harms way. Like his arrogance is stronger than my will for peace.

Long story short, I’m doing a come back to me spell with a candle & it burned 3/4 down. Due to the herbs I used, it started to create a big flame & immediately set the fire alarm off at 2am (in my room). I instantly blew it out before the flame got bigger out of sheer panic (again, in my room = LOUD fire alarm in my ear).

Will my spell still work? 🥲 i was hoping to have the crandle burn all the way. I may try to relight it.

Just did a reconciliation spell for my SO, we had an argument and are in no contact. The flame on this was CRAZY. Both candles started off separate, and merged into a huge flame.

I have felt a huge flow of energy in the past few days, and put a lot of energy and love into this spell as I deeply care about this person. The entire time, I manifested our separate flames merge into a big flame, a big fire. A love so big no one has seen.

I interpret this as a positive sign, however I will also ask my tarot. The whole experience was filled with joy, and I felt my energy flowing through.

I was contemplating to make a sour jar and hex someone, then I decided to open reddit, and i saw a post about someone being scratched and some people in the comments where saying how baby witches should not play around with hexing. Mind you, I am new to magic and hexing. So should i make the sour jar as my first hexing spell as a beginner in this craft? And if not, are there other hexs that are safer for beginners that i can do instead of a sour jar to hex someone?

Yesterday I did cleanse, then protection spell.

I had this girl that decided to break up due to being overwhelmed, we knew each other 1year before we started dating 8 months after she ended it.

I loved her a lot and I simply couldn’t move on.

I did a love/reconcialition spell(two candles with names carved) under a plate with the lovers tarot card, lavender, quartz, rose petals etc.

And a love blood spell.

Though, all I feel is like all my bad emotions, longing are gone, don’t know why but I genuinely started feeling much better.

Opinions?

So I have been casting a lot of spells since getting into witchcraft. A few month ago I made a Eternal love spell it was the basic honey Jar type deal. However I wanted to ask for some advice. Can I recharge the energy of the honey jar. From what I am seeing I can but I am not sure on how to do it also I wanted to look for more love Hex spells and other binding spells for anyone to share. I have been on here for a while and it seems like I am seeing less and less spells being posted. God bless

I would consider myself an intermediate-beginner witch, as I've been practicing for 6 years but only consistently doing spellwork for about 2 years. Mostly, I've done protection and abundance work, deity work, and exactly one love spell, which worked so well, I'm now hoping to move in with the man it brought me.

Long story short, there's an amazing opportunity for us to move in together sooner rather than later, to a place that would be much cheaper than average. it's the difference between us living together (and getting the hell out of our respective family homes) in six months, rather than having to wait another few years.

Unfortunately, there's a few different variables that determine whether or not this is going to happen -- which is usually when spellwork works best.

my question is this -- does anyone have a recipe or suggestions for spellwork for a "new home" or "happy home" spell? I've done money bowls, protection jars, and deity summonings, but I'm not sure what herbs or methods would work best for something like this. Any suggestions welcome!

I am planning a sour jar that uses Mars water. As you probably know already, Mars water needs rusty iron nails as one of the ingredients. I also see people listing things like vinegar or lemon for it, especially when used for a sour jar or other baneful magic. Now, that is effectively a recipie for hydrogen gas, so my question is how are people making things like this and not having their jars explode? I would like this sour jar not to explode, and ideally I would like it to stay sealed for as long as possible.

Does anyone have any advice or tips from personal experience? It would be much appreciated! Thank you :)

So I’ve always had the narcissism of thinking I’m pretty strong. Long line of witches of all kinds. Someone or something is after me. I’ve had a terrible few weeks. In the last month the AC in my home busted which will be $20k. My hot water heater blew and flooded my entire basement $5k. My washing machine broke $1.5k. My oven just broke last night and started a fire (put out, no damage, likely a $8k cost for a new one). I somehow hurt my back at the gym, I literally had to have two fireman carry me to my car. Now I’ve been getting MRIs to see what’s going on. Just found a skin cancer spot on my face (won’t be a big deal but will leave a scar). I’m about to turn 37 but I’ve played sports my whole life and for most of my life I’ve been nearly invincible physically. I would just chalk this up to typical bad luck. I’ve been suspicious for sure. BUT I got a very bloody egg yolk the other morning from a regular shitty grocery store carton. I’m married, gay, and live on the nicest street in a not so nice town. The town is about 94% Spanish (I’m not) and VERY homophobic conservative religious. Hardcore Christians but it’s well known many of these fundamentalists are practitioners. Locals say it’s Santeria craft. Which could be true, could be stereotyping. But something is for sure up here. We’ve been here six years. I felt it the day we got here. My husband has been involved in city politics the last few years and people are NOT happy. Recently he’s been an outspoken critic of the city’s extremely shady plans to give a S ton of public land to the Kushners for free to develop more slum housing. It’s the career making deal the very inexperienced and respectfully uneducated people in charge are very excited about. I’m not saying for sure it’s someone here but it’s all I can think of.

I’ve always regularly cleansed, put up barriers, and used protection spells on our property. But I can’t help but think I’m failing somewhere.

I did grey work during the equinox like I always do. I’ve worked more protection and defensive spells. The last couple weeks I’ve worked with mars water. I used ground wasps from one of the hives that go through their natural lifecycle on my property each year and hair from each of my three big guard dogs. But I need some suggestions from others out there. The wilder the better.
