MXW Software v1.2.0 - Shure's Cleverbridge delivery has completely failed. Anyone able to share the installer?

Hey all, hoping someone here can help with what's turned into a genuinely ridiculous situation.

I picked up an MXWANI4 to interface my Tesira Forte's Dante network with an analog amplifier signal chain. Unit is on the network, alive, fully discoverable via Dante Controller, passing audio at the Dante level. The hardware is perfectly healthy.

The problem: I can't configure the Shure side of it because I cannot obtain Microflex Wireless Software v1.2.0. The original Flash-based web UI is dead (obviously), and Shure's replacement desktop app is the only configuration path. Without it, the unit is essentially a brick from a configuration standpoint.

What I've tried over the last several hours:

  • Shure US site download → Cleverbridge registration → confirmation email (ref 540860793) saying "you'll receive your product directly from Shure" → no Shure delivery email has ever arrived
  • Shure Asia regional site → same Cleverbridge dead-end
  • Shure software archive page → every Download button → Cleverbridge → same loop
  • Cleverbridge Purchase Lookup tool with reference number → no working link
  • Softpedia, Softonic, FileHippo, FreeDownloadManager, Software Informer → none of them carry v1.2.0 (they all have SUU because that's been freely distributed since 2014, but the newer MXW Software is locked down)
  • Wayback Machine on Shure download pages → no direct file captures
  • Various site: and inurl: searches on Shure's own CDN subdomains → only documentation surfaced, no installer
  • Spam folder, promotions folder, every filter checked → nothing

SUU works fine (got that, used it, firmware is current). Dante Controller works fine. The block is purely the Shure-side configuration software.

Background - why this is genuinely broken:

Shure killed the Flash UI when Adobe killed Flash in 2020. Built a replacement desktop app. Locked the replacement behind a Cleverbridge-gated registration flow that fails for international (AU in my case) customers. There is no documented alternative path. The product I paid for cannot be configured because Shure's distribution chain has failed to deliver the only software that can configure it.

Multiple Cleverbridge support pages document this as a known issue requiring manual support intervention. I'll be emailing Shure Asia support, but their turnaround is business hours US time and I'd really like to get this commissioned tonight.

The ask:

If anyone here has the MXW Software v1.2.0 installer sitting on a build USB or in a downloads folder, would you be willing to share it via DM? I'm not looking to bypass any licensing — the software is freely distributed by Shure, I just can't access their distribution. I'll independently verify the file hash against any official source I can find before installing.

Alternatively, if anyone knows a working direct download URL that doesn't route through Cleverbridge, that would be equally welcome.

Cheers, and thanks for reading this far. Welcome to roast me if I'm missing something obvious.

My newly purchased MV6 works like a charm with the stock usb c cable that is 3 feet too short for me to use with my setup but will not work with the two (6' and 10') replacement cables I have tried to replace the tiny stock cord with.

All I get is a flashing amber light on the mute button. After my first purchase did not work, I specifically asked 2 different a.i. which cord was most suggested and bought that one. Neither usb c cord worked, and I'm out an additional $30. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, how did you remedy it?

Mv7+ sounds like my old mic.

I had a hyperx mic before this one I set it up watch some videos and got motiv mix going and everything. But everyone tells me there’s no difference it doesn’t sound bad but not amazing is that how it’s suppose to be or am I over thinking it?

Hey fellow engineers! I have an event next Tuesday that I’ve been preparing for and of course things change prior to these events. I have two panels that will require 6 lav mics for the first panel and the second panel will need 8 lav mics. I have three ULXDs stacked at the moment giving me 12 mics and I plan on adding a fourth to the stack for my two extra mics. I have my antennas I’ll be extending to about the middle of the room on each side. Has anyone done a gig like this before and if so, do you have any other advice? I’m using an Allen and Heath SQ6 mixer as well. This is my first time using this many lavs simultaneously

Hey all -

Simple as the title really… I see the MV7X, MV7, and M7i and they seem to all sound similar, but am curious if there’s any difference in sound that I’m not hearing or any “perks” to buy one or another.

Will be using a Focusrite 2i2 (4th Gen).

Thank you!

Does anyone know if there has been a design update to the 55SH Series II at any point? Did they release one with more of a chrome looking finish rather than the traditional brushed steel look?

I need a 55SH Series II repaired. (Someone said the series elevens were the best!)

But seriously. I think either the switch or the capsule needs to be replaced.

So my frustration with my Podmic USB was that if i connect it to my phone, record something, i have to then unplug it to listen to it from the phone speakers.

Yes, i could plug headphones into the mic but i don't want to use headphone. I use my mic quickly and lightweight - i want to use the mic as input and keep phone speakers as the output.

Couldn't find anything that would help me with this, so i ended up building an entire audio production suite app for Android.

You can explicitly select the mic as the input and the phone speaker as the output.

On top of that you can edit and mix tracks together. Currently the editing functionality is pretty basic but will be expanding on it soon.

This was a major frustration for my use-case of the mic - solved!

You can use the app for free with advanced functionality being paid as this took a lot of work.

Though i'd share - hopefully this helps people in similar situations

Total noob here. Relatively new to recording. I did when I was a kid and thought I was a master but now I'm giving it a proper go. I bought an SM7db. I'm wondering what the advantages of the db boost are. I recorded a track without it on and my pre-amp up relatively high. Got the air noise. Room is semi-treated. Is there an advantage to turning the gain boost on and lowering my pre amp to eliminate room noise? Thank you!

I'd like to try mounting a PSM 900 directional antenna (PA805SWB)on an overhead horizontal truss, but there doesn't appear to be a bracket specifically designed for this and I'm having trouble identifying the right combination of hardware to create one. Suggestions?

tl;dr We have a large stage (120x30), the PSM900 transmitters are racked with combiners offstage. Talent complains of dropouts when the directional antenna is placed in either wing. Omni antenna upstage center works better, but too visible.

Hi everyone! I recently bought an SM7b, and as you know, this microphone requires a lot of gain to work properly. To avoid increasing the preamp and introducing noise, I bought a QLifter. My problem is that even with this connected and phantom power enabled, I still have no signal. My audio interface is an SSL MK2+

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Hello everyone.

I just had to reformat my machine, and now my Shure MV7+ Mic with Motiv Mix software stays at 100 gain. The level doesn't move when I speak into it, and when I record, it's heavily distorted with insane feedback.

I have gone through the sound settings and the app settings, and I am at my wits' end trying to get this to work. Any help would be appreciated.
