Best Buy denied refund even though Roadie proof photo was taken inside driver’s car

Ordered AirPods from Best Buy and they used Roadie for delivery. The driver marked the package as delivered but the proof photo was literally taken inside the driver’s car, not at my apartment door.
Package never arrived. I filed a police report immediately and contacted Best Buy multiple times. Their supervisor finally called and still refused both refund and replacement just because the order was “marked delivered.” ( and that’s like me trying to reach out to them for the 10th time)
I honestly cannot believe a company accepts a delivery photo taken inside a driver’s vehicle as valid proof of delivery.
Has anyone successfully won a chargeback or gotten Best Buy to reverse a denial in a situation like this?

Is roadie absolute trash now

Haven't seen a huge Hd gig on the app since i came back from Mexico. That was basically the only way to make any decent money on this app. Now all i see is small HD orders and bullshit xl orders from WM that are way underpaid for the amount of things your picking up. Is everyone else experiencing the same?

By far the largest route I’ve ever fulfilled on Roadie in one sitting. Blessed. It even included an execution chair! Happy Monday

How Screwed Am I? I Didn’t Realize it was a Time Sensitive Delivery 😭

How screwed am I 😭

Alright so I got an Alto delivery. I totally forgot Roadie sent us a notice that these orders had to be done on time & now I see why. Why oh why is Alto just letting us take their orders without at least stating somewhere that these are time sensitive orders & need to be delivered on time?

I feel awful I ruined this woman’s evening because I hadn’t realized I was supposed to be on time since the app is always telling us a different drop off time every time so I thought I had more time & took other orders on different apps thinking ok I’m sure these people don’t mind if their orders are late?? Alto lets us leave these orders unattended as long as it’s in a safe spot without a signature so I took the liberty to multi-app & take my time on the delivery. 😭

I’m finally on this lady’s delivery as she was last & she’s firing off on me blowing up my phone pissed & saying how shes gonna make a formal complaint to Alto. I guess she thought I was one of their drivers & not on a 3rd party app where they’re actually probably forced to be on time & thinks I’ll get fired or whatever.

I tried explaining to her how I didn’t understand it was time sensitive & that I thought I could just leave it at her door & it’d be fine as I didn’t need a signature but she still made her complaint. 🙄

I mean this is the first time this has happened on an Alto delivery as I don’t get them often so I’m hoping Roadie will let it slide this time. 😭

Yea no thank you to the Alto deliveries then!! This is gonna be my last one. 😡 They’re a waste of time I’m seeing now if they’re time sensitive apparently so I can’t multi-app.

Hey all, I’m in a tough spot Roadie just deactivated my account permanently, claiming I marked an order delivered without picking it up. The problem is, I always follow the process: I scan at pickup, take photos, and track the GPS route. I’ve never had a rating below five stars. Has anyone else gone through this? Any advice on how to successfully appeal or what steps I should take next?

I'm trying to get reimbursed for a parking fee at the airport but it isn't working. What am I doing wrong?

This past Sunday I completed a roadie trip from the airport and had to pay a parking fee. I took screenshots of the photo (shown in description) and submitted it twice but was told that an entry time was not included. Are they referring to the time in which I drove into the parking garage or what exactly? I have a little under two weeks left to get reimbursed and while it isn't the end of the world or anything I would still like to as I have gone through this process before and succeeded. Where do I need to take the screenshot so that roadie has the information required to proceed?

Didn't work Sunday. Going into Monday I had made $708 and was trying reach a thousand by today. Was at $1015 by the end of Monday and today I made over $300. Also got cash tips three deliveries in a row yesterday and another one today for a total of $60.

What’s a realistic earning expectation with a sedan?

I just got accepted, I have many other sources of income, so I am very aware that this is not a thing to do full-time, but I’m just curious because a lot of the borders that I see require a large vehicle or are just not worth it so I’m just curious has anyone paired it with any other apps like Doordash or Uber? What are some realistic earnings you guys had with a sedan?
