How long before I can dunk at 192cm(6'3.5)

I'm not athletic or anything but I really want to dunk . I can only hold the rim on my static vertical so I did plyo and weights for 3months now my vertical improve but when I try to run and dunk with the ball my vertical lowers

how close am I to dunking a lob?

5’10, 195 pounds, only been doing weight training for years plyos for a couple of weeks always wanted to be able to dunk a basketball one day, and went from barely skimming rim to grabbing it comfortably and this was a frame from when I got tired, is it realistic for me to be able to dunk one day? Sorry for the bad image lol. Any tips for training plyos to get a few inches on my vert?

Thoughts on pendulum squat

so my gym got one, and I’m aware the resistance profile is easiest at the bottom and hardest at the lockout, so… would that make it the best squat variation for vertical/dunking?

see I do it once every 1-2 weeks, with 3 leg days a week, but usually do bb back squats, front squats/power cleans, hack squats and belt squats instead… so would it be smart to shift much of that volume to pendulum squats?

thanks

Help with planting my feet straight?

Slightly concerned about how I have trouble keeping my feet straight. I'm trying to jump straight but you can see right at the end my feet turn another 90 to the left. When I watch good two foot jumpers they don't have this it's all on balance and they can keep a straight line from their approach.

One of the earliest vids I have of me dunking

I was 16 in this, and didn’t really know what I had at the time. I’m 28 now and on a passionate mission to get my dunking ability back. I can barely graze the rim currently. I’ve been talking with ChatGPT about it and my goal is to start putting up legit dunk attempts by month 9, and first successful dunk again by month 12.

Currently just finished month 2, and I think I’m very much on track. I can already feel some bounce coming back.

For some stupid reason once I got out of really good shape in my early 20s I thought that I wouldn’t be able to dunk ever again because I was exiting my “explosive prime”.

But as I’ve developed and matured a bit more I realize that’s a foolish way to think. Dudes can still dunk into their 40s and 50s if they keep at it. And I don’t even want to keep at it necessary with how explosive it is. I just want to get back to that point at least once. Would’ve been easier if I had just always maintained it, but hey, I’m just glad I’m still young and motivated enough to want to get it back so badly.

I’m tired of saying I “used to be able to dunk”. That’s giving up at my age imo. I have no excuse not to get it back. I know I’ll regret later if I don’t try.

Plyometrics help

I have been doing plyometrics and weight lifting for about 1 year now, I went from not being able to touch the the rim to a 36 inch vertical. Right now I'm doing my routine about twice a week and it looks like this: 50 box jumps, 50 seated jumps from a bench to the box, 50 depth jumps off the bench onto the box, and 50 broad jumps. For the box I use a 30 inch bc thats the tallest one I have.

So my question is is my workout optimal? Any tips would help. I also wanted to know if I should start holding weights, like ankle weights, a weight vest, or dumbbells bc its getting kind of easy, or should I make it harder In a different way bc I have heard that adding weight when doing plyometrics will just build strength instead of helping me build fast twitch muscle fibers and get more explosive.( I also do strength training and weight lifting 3 other times a week.)
