What to do about an out of state online threat

Recieved this lovely threat from a racist instagram tough guy in the comments the other day. Debating on how to go about it. I'm all for 2A and 1A but this crossed a line.

File an anonymous tip in NJ and his state?

Go to my local police and file a report?

What do yall think is the right way to go about it?

(Ai says

Minimum: nothing happens/he gets a stern talking to.

Maximum: I basically ruin buddy's life.)

new jersey is hell for anyone who likes guns seriously

sitting here thinking, why did i even move here, work i guess but gun laws are just insane, like anyone who buys an upper is gonna rob a bank tomorrow.i have an old lower from when i lived in pennsylvania, it was fine there, buy it and enjoy, but here i look at the rules, their stupid read some bs about forged grips banned, folding stocks banned, barrel weight has to be something, im already confused .so i decided to look for an upper for something thats both legal and not boring, i mean not the same 556 all the time, sometimes you wanna shoot something heavier, or quieter maybe for a suppressor but suppressors in nj thats a whole different story

back to our problem, i just wanna understand who in nj builds something non standard, how do you get around these stupid restrictions, for example i read that for 300 blackout you need to check that the barrel is not just any barrel but with a specific thread and if you have a pistol then its a different story anyway im confused, on one hand i wanna build something interesting in 6.5 grendel or 224 valkyrie, on the other hand im scared the cops will show up cause your barrel is half an inch longer than allowed or something elsee

maybe someone already went through this, tell me where you order uppers so they are nj compliant, that site i found is based in texas and i think they ship anywhere but not sure about our local bs.and about magazines, i saw they sell separate mags for 6.8 spc and 7.62x39, but in nj capacity is limited so you gotta either diy it or find special ones. so if any folks from new jersey who built something other than standard 556, hit me up, tell me how and where you got parts, so i dont step on the same rake

p.s. laws are dumb but what can you do, we live in a swamp

Absolutely love my 6arc! Game changer

Anywhere from 300-800yds really becomes effortless with 6mm arc and wanting to stay in a small frame gas gun.

I will also say - being a 6’1” dude trying to shoot from a 5.5’ truck bed isn’t exactly the easiest or most comfortable thing to do🤣

Caution! Real ID may link your DL to concealed carry status!

PSA. While attending a US Law Shield meeting, it was communicated to me by one of the reps, that they were personally identified as a concealed carry holder by hospital staff when scanning their real ID upon accessing the hospital.

Allegedly they were explicitly asked at the front desk if they were “currently carrying” immediately after their Real ID was scanned. The rep stated that they have never been asked this question by the hospital prior to having a Real ID.

Take it for what it’s worth. Stay safe.

Need legal storage for one rifle at home

I had to put flair, even though there was no flair for storage. I am currently holding some guns temporarily for someone..they have been legally transferred to me. There are several handguns which I could put in my normal small safe, but there is also one rifle. There are children who visit my home regularly. The person who Temporarily can't have access may also visit. I don't think they would find the rifle, but I want to be safe. There is no ammo in the house.

How can I store it safely? Is a trigger lock good enough? Is there a small tall safe that isnt expensive?

JHP or other non FMJ ammo for home use

As title says, saw something about JHP being illegal in NJ. Saw conflicting article about it being legal if used in home? Wasn't able to buy online... What's legal v illegal here?

Will only be using in home - I do not have CCW

Concealed carry test requirements

I am working towards taking the class needed for concealed carry permit. Own a FN 502.

How easy/ difficult are the requirements? I hunted when I was younger, but handguns are newer to me. (F 38)

Do you think they’ll ban Glocks in New Jersey?

Honestly, as a Glock enjoyer myself. I am worried they’re going to try and ban Glocks in this state. What are your guys’s thoughts on the matter? Have a great day!

Edit: I only thought this because of what’s going on in Maryland

Had my concealed carry permit for about a year and have always been nervous about getting pulled over while carrying. Well broke my cherry and informed the officer like I am supposed to and had no issues at all. He was grateful that I let him know and was very professional and courteous. I guess there was nothing to worry about.

NJ hunting license field test.

Ok. I just finished the online test part. Now I need the field test ( shooting safety) with safety in mind. I just Have the Shockwave SPX.l, with birds head grip. I would bet they dont want me bringing that. What's my options fellas? I am going through this just to try shooting at some WMA places with various guns I own. Might be wasting my time. But it might be worth it to shoot outside.
