When proposed in Paris, you should say 'Oui' 💍

The Eiffel Tower is so romantic, and Paris is so romantic. It was all planned by the straight guy himself for a whole year, with a super surprise. Even I didn't know about the ring selection, haha. It's really super super dazzling, and I can't help looking at my hand every day

happy lil NYC engagement :)

the ring was custom made at a local jeweler, with 14k yellow gold, a lab-grown rose cut diamond, and four vintage natural-diamond side stones

genuinely my dream ring, and my dream man, i don’t know how i could be happier 🥰

Engaged on Saturday!

We have been together nearly 7 years and he proposed at a spot that is extremely close to my heart. Still can’t believe it! My ring is a 3ct lab-created Moval diamond. A moval is a cross between a marquis and oval shape. I custom designed it and couldn’t be happier. There is also a hidden halo and pavè bridge.

My first post but lurker

I got engaged 2 weeks to my high school sweetheart.

We met back in 93, and got married in 96. Sadly marrying that young ( I was still in high school but 18) led to the fall of the marriage in 1998. We stayed in touch off and on, both remarried just a year apart. And both realized we shouldn’t have remarried other people but each other and got back together in December 2024.

That’s the promise ring he gave me in high school

We said yes!

I’m over the moon to finally share that I’m engaged! This vivid green gem is the centerpiece of my ring, and it’s more beautiful than I ever imagined. The way the light hits it… I can’t stop staring.

Feeling so lucky to be starting this chapter with my person.

I’m quite skinny so my fingers are kinda thin and all haha

Is the ring loose? It won’t slip off my knuckles when I walk or move my hand.. but it does slide up and down and sideways(below the knuckles). Is that normal? Do I need to get it resized?

Also.. at what temperature and below does your fingers constrict considerably?

(Pics for attention and my ring!🥹♥️)
Hi! I just got engaged and I’m starting to plan my wedding for 2027 at the Madonna Inn. I’m working with a budget of around $15,000 for about 50 guests, and I’d really love some guidance on how to make this realistic.

I’m trying to figure out what’s actually doable within that budget—would hiring a wedding planner even make sense, or should I plan to handle most of it myself? If DIY is the better route, what parts are typically worth doing on your own vs. what’s better to outsource?

I’d appreciate any advice on budgeting, priorities, cost-saving tips, or things people often overlook when planning a wedding at Madonna Inn specifically. I’m open to all suggestions and just want to make sure I’m setting myself up the right way from the start. We want it to be casino themed(like the movie) so very kitsch given the venue as well!

Thank you so much—I really appreciate any help!

We got engaged on March 17th and I’ve been meaning to share lol. I went on here prior when I was ring shopping and needed help deciding which ring to get…..well I got this one! 😆 So happy!

This is a 1.5 carat marquise diamond on an 18k yellow gold band size 4. The band has diamond detailing in it as well

Hi!! I recently got engaged but we can plan on marrying soon. I need inspo/help looking for a wedding band for my ring. I tried some on today at a jewelry store and they all looked terrible with my ring. My setting is pretty much 75-80% covered with diamonds so idk what to look for :(

I got proposed to yesterday, and I initially loved my ring because of what it represents!

I still love it, but im trying to also be logical. My engagement ring is something i would want to wear everyday, and the first thing i notice about it is that its a heart. I also want my engagement and wedding band to go well together, and that could maybe be hard to find as its very specific in its shape. I have talked to my fiancé about this, and im sure we will figure something out. I just dont know what the best solution is, the Shape of the ring is probably one thing that you cant change.

Should I exchange the engagement ring with a different style that is a bit more subtle? Is it normal to change the style of it?

I was first inspired by this ring from watching Selling Sunset. Way before I even met my fiancé. A friend of one of the cast had one. I immediately said “Ooh, that’s different, I think that may be my dream ring”. And lo and behold, our local jewelry store was able to make it. Yayy!!!! 2ct, pear, and oval on a gold band! Each stone is 1ct.
