I got proposed to yesterday, and I initially loved my ring because of what it represents!

I still love it, but im trying to also be logical. My engagement ring is something i would want to wear everyday, and the first thing i notice about it is that its a heart. I also want my engagement and wedding band to go well together, and that could maybe be hard to find as its very specific in its shape. I have talked to my fiancé about this, and im sure we will figure something out. I just dont know what the best solution is, the Shape of the ring is probably one thing that you cant change.

Should I exchange the engagement ring with a different style that is a bit more subtle? Is it normal to change the style of it?

Have you experienced the same, and what ended up being your solution? should i just use it on the other hand after getting married, and have a more simple wedding band? Or should I exchange the engagement ring with a different style that is a bit more subtle?
