Looking for sales/marketing job opportunities.

Hi everyone, I am 22F.
I’m currently looking for opportunities in marketing, sales, customer engagement, or related roles. I’m pursuing BE in IT and have good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and I enjoy interacting with people and working in dynamic environments.
I’m open to internships and entry-level roles, including in-office, remote, or hybrid opportunities. If anyone knows of openings, referrals, or has suggestions on where I should apply, I’d really appreciate it.

What are the chances of getting a genuine WFH job as a fresher?

I’m currently preparing for competitive exams and meanwhile I was thinking of working to become financially independent and gain some experience.

I come from a small town so relocating or working in a regular office setup is not very feasible for me right now. Because of that, I’ve been exploring work from home opportunities.

I recently created a profile on naukri app and I’m also planning to make profiles on other job portals. I’m a history graduate and while I don’t have technical skills like coding, I believe my English and communication skills are decent.

What are the chances of getting a WFH job with at least 20-30k salary?

Urgent Help

So i interviewed at a company and they were so interested in me since a week they were chasing me and i finally went yesterday for an interview and mind i already told them my last ctc and the person i connected said they would be happy to match it and go above , after i went for an interview yesterday i was supposed to be interviewed by the founder and the HEAD , but only the head took my interview and it was just hardly 5-7 mins , then at last she asked me my expectations for salary and i told her my expectations then she said that the founder is in a meeting and we’ll arrange a virtual interview it’s been almost 22 hours . i tried dropping a text to the person who connected with me at first but no response and also called her today but she didn’t pick up , and i saw they’ve posted the same job on LinkedIn less than 21 hours ago , what are the odds they’ve moved on ? and even if they did they should’ve atleast informed right?

What happened to IT Hiring After January 2026????

I just wanted to know whether anyone else in the IT industry is facing the same situation right now.

Currently, I’m working in a startup company in a cybersecurity role, and for the past one year I’ve been trying to switch companies. During 2025 — especially around Sep, Oct, Nov, and Dec — I was getting a lot of interview calls continuously. I attended interviews with GCC companies, fintech companies, startups, MNCs, and Big 4 related opportunities because I also had previous experience in EY.

At one point, I was attending back-to-back interviews within the same week. But unfortunately, I couldn’t crack most of them. In many cases, after the interview, HRs would completely ghost me. Sometimes the role would suddenly get frozen, and sometimes I’d just get rejected after multiple rounds.

Then in Jan 2026, I attended an interview with an MNC, but after that I didn’t get any update either.

What’s confusing me now is this: from Jan 2026 till now (May 2026), I’m barely getting any interview calls at all. Almost 5 months. The effort from my side is still the same — applying continuously, updating resume, networking, reaching out to people — but compared to last year, the number of calls has dropped heavily.

What makes me more confused is that during March-April-May last year, I was getting many calls from companies like KPMG, PwC, BDO, etc., and I eventually joined my current startup in June 2025 for a different role opportunity. Even after joining, I again started getting interview calls around Sep-Jan. But now, during what I thought was usually the hiring season, there’s almost nothing.

Many of my friends and colleagues are saying that hiring is frozen in a lot of companies, especially MNCs, due to layoffs, budget cuts, recession concerns, etc.

So I just wanted to ask:

- Is anyone else in IT facing this kind of slowdown in hiring right now?

- Are companies actually freezing hiring?

- Or is the market just becoming extremely competitive compared to last year?

Would really like to hear opinions from people across different IT domains.

I am so fed up with the rat race!!!

I(23F) am a creative strategist started freelancing at 18 as a content writer and eventually worked my way up from start ups even recently moved to Bangalore for “creative freedom”

And I swear to god!!! Everyone around is so drained and just moonlighting across multiple formats. The so called start up founders are drop outs or rich daddy’s money laundering machine😭 nobody wants to hear you out. Literally i am the only girl employee with real experience and good degree just to be rolled over some sh*t my boss saw on Instagram and mind you he is 23 too!

Even though we all say lets become content creators they are earning too much, dude the rat race for hooks! I swear its like every industry is so attention hungry to exploit each other. I have almost given up on corporate due to this corporate creative fatigue maybe its because i have drained myself in start ups but for real i considered doing my masters and apply as a professor but apparently some courses will be shut down!!!!

What do we even do? Farming? But the weather too bad water too polluted. I start applying elsewhere and suddenly as a copywriter i should also design and as a content writer execute seo and as a creative strategist be a social media project manger and document every single shit😭😭😭😭😭

[Hiring] Looking 3 backend devs, 1 frontend dev, 1 fullstack, and 3 cold-emailers and researchers

  1. We’re hiring 3 backend developers, 1 frontend developer, and 1 full-stack developer with around 2-7 yoe.

We’re an operations-focused company, and part of the role involves building internal/operational software solutions for clients as requirements come in.

For existing projects, our current stack is react, angular, java and python. We also have a few new client projects coming up that will be built from scratch, so we’re fairly tech-agnostic there and usually decide the stack collaboratively based on the project and the people involved.

Budget: 12-15lpa

  1. We're also looking for 3 cold emailers who are good with research. We've realised that targeted and personalized emails work way better than automated at scale emails, so We're looking for someone who'll actually put in work in researching the client and sending emails.

Budget: 5-6lpa

Got Paid 85k in CASH for 3 years. Probably getting Laid off. How do I explain/justify cash payments as salary?

The Quick Backstory:

  • My Background: UG in Biomedical Engineering + PG Diploma in Health Informatics.
  • The Detour: Couldn't start in healthcare initially, so joined a hospitality startup (restaurants, commercial spaces, events).
  • The Growth: Started as a Business Analyst, Promoted to Operations Manager making 85k/month.
  • The Crisis: Recent energy/gas crises hit us hard. Company is restructuring, layoffs are happening, and I’m resigning before the ship sinks.

The Big Problem:

The startup operates entirely in the unorganized sector. Strictly cash-in-hand weekly payouts. No digital payroll, no PF/ESI, and zero bank statements to prove my income.

I’m trying to pivot back to my core field (Corporate Hospital Ops / Healthcare Data Analyst). I have a genuine experience certificate and a recommendation letter from the CEO, but nothing else.

Questions for HR:

  1. The Interview Pitch: Do I tell recruiters upfront about the "cash-only" model, or will they red-flag me instantly?
  2. The BGC Nightmare: If a background verification agency demands bank statements to prove my 3-year tenure, what alternatives can I give them?
  3. The Salary Dilemma: Because I can't prove my 85k mathematically, will corporate HR treat me like a fresher and lowball me?

TL;DR: Promoted from Analyst to Ops Manager (85k) at a startup. Company is tanking, getting laid off. The catch? Paid entirely in cash. No bank statements. Want to pivot to Corporate Healthcare. Am I screwed for background checks?

Feeling lost as a 3rd year CS student — low CGPA, barely any skills, need honest advice

Hey everyone,

So I'm currently in my sem break before 3rd year begins. My CGPA is pretty bad (won't even say the number), and skill wise I barely know some C and Python and my DSA is literally at very beginner level. Like I know I'm behind but I don't even know where to start catching up.

The main thing stressing me out is — I have no idea what path to take. Everyone around me is either grinding DSA for placements, or doing ML projects, or jumping on the Web3 .Am not sure which direction to even pick, and every time I try to research I end up more confused than before.

Few specific things I'd love advice on:

How do I even build a resume at this point? Like what do I realistically put on it when I don't have projects or internships yet?

For whichever path — how do I actually learn it properly, not just watch random Yt videos and forget everything?

What are the actual job/internship opportunities for each? Like what roles should I be targeting?

I genuinely want to understand what a realistic roadmap looks like for someone starting from near zero in 3rd year. Any seniors or working folks who've been in a similar spot — would really appreciate the reality check.

Thanks in advance🍻
