i m going to be an intern at IIT hyderabad ,

1)what hostels do they allot to research interns ?

2. is there any renting of bicycles?

3. can we rent mattresses or pillows ?

4. how we can connect to other interns ?

will be joining in August. is stuff like eggs, paneer, chicken etc available every day. and do you pay extra for them?

I will be writing the SS CSE exam on 7th May and will be using a cab from Bowenpally to IIT Hyderabad(the route is via Kompally , Kandlakoya). If anyone's travelling from nearby Bowenpally , we can share the cab. Dm if interested

I'll be travelling next week for my PhD interview at IIT Hyderabad from Secunderabad railway station. (Wish me luck 🤞🏻)

I want to ask a few things:

1. How can I travel from Secunderabad railway station to campus? Is MMTS a good option?

2. Should I stay at the guest house or get a hotel near shankarapalli (if it's there)? Any suggestions on stay?

3. Any interview tips?

Hello everyone, my interview for the M.Tech in Medical Biotechnology at IIT Hyderabad is coming up soon. Does anyone have any idea how the interview is conducted and what kind of questions are usually asked?

Also, are the questions more focused on core theoretical subjects and concepts, research projects, or basics? Do they ask technical problem-solving questions or mostly discuss your SOP, internship, and academic background?

Would really appreciate it if anyone could share their interview experience or any tips.

Hi, I secured AIR below 20 in GATE MT. I have applied for Semiconductor Technology at IISc, Semiconductor Technology at IIT Madras, and Semiconductor Materials and Devices at IIT Hyderabad. Given that my admission to IISc is less probable, could you please suggest whether I should prefer SemT at IITM or SMD at IITH? One factor to consider is that if I join the IITM SemT program, I will be part of the first batch.

Is anyone doing a part time PhD in design in IIT Hyderabad? do we have to stay on campus to do course work?

Hi yall, I will be attending the ACM Summer school at IITH this summer. I'll be arriving at kacheguda station around 11.30pm at night. What are the possible ways to get to IITH at that hour? Would cabs be available/willing to take me there?

Similarly, while leaving I need to be there at kacheguda station at 5.45 am? How to reach from IITH to the station? (ola/uber or any other means of transport?)

I will be reaching kacheguda at 8 am and need to get to IITH. Some friends told me to take an auto from there. How much does it usually cost and are there better options?
