What should i focus on right now for best chances? What were your stats like when you got in?

How difficult is Span 201 over the summer if I’m going to be working a 9-5 internship? Should I just do it in the fall?

I'm a transfer from outside CUNY, so I'm genuinely curious...Participation/attendance is between 8%-12% of the grade in all of my classes, but less than half of the students ever show up. When an exam comes the rooms are always packed and once there weren't even enough seats for everyone. Are most ppl on full financial aide so they don't care about losing money/failing and have to retake? Or do many ppl really not need to come to class to learn?

Hey, so I recently got a new phone and lost all my data. I am having trouble accessing my MFA and student ID. I contacted the IT help desk but they never pick up. Is the only option to go in person to the main site? Will they be able to help me right away. Have class in two days and need this situated ASAP

Hey guys I'm back at it again with another rant. And before you act all snarky and be like "oh well youre paying for this stfu and suck it up" IDGAF. I'm just soooo pissed because there's already like 0 places to sit on campus during the day time, like yeah it gets better during the evenings but liiiike... that's already after I've been here for 6+ hours and not to mention that other people have JOBS and other responsiblities!!!! Sometimes coming to campus when its not crowded is not an option! The cafeteria is like the most accessible place to just hang out and chill with how crowded the library gets, and like okaay they added those useless ass benches to the sky bridge but those tables are tiny, slanted and uncomfortable asf like. It's not accessible! Like if you're handicapped, or even just physically bigger! There are soo many spaces to hold conferences or whatever, like on the 8th floor in the west building WHICH is basically the same size as the cafeteria anyway!. Like it's frustrating! ALSO, what the fuck has been going on with the escalators? Like I'm sorry it's not gonna save the environment if they power it down for like an hour. Also, that situation with the 5th floor escalator where they just reversed it?? IDK. its whack. It's finals week and I'm tweaking out over everything. Good luck you guys. Peace and love. How can I get an appointment if they’re all taken? Am I too late? Do I email Thornton? Can I just show up and hope someone missed theirs? What’s the most likely time I can squeeze myself if in if I just show up? Pls helpppppp 🫠

I'm a cs grad from 2024. I wasn't able to get any job after I finished. I've been homeless the day after I graduated. My parents didn't want me to live with them anymore when they saw I didn't get an offer right out of college. I was never able to get an interview anywhere after, so maybe they were right to throw me away.

Wasn't able to ever get a minimum wage job, not that it'd pay enough to even rent a room.

I gave myself a metric that if I didn't get a job 2 years after college, I'd give up on life. In less than two weeks it'll be 2 years. I've accepted it.

I've been feeding myself minimally with the leftover financial aid money I had. It's running out. The debit card will expire in a year, too.

I don't want to be on this planet anymore. I don't want to exist. I'm going to be leaving this plane of existence by the year's end.

I don't really know why I'm posting this. I just wanted to reach out to someone, anyone one last time maybe. I'm debating going to hunter for my degree paper so I can at least leave the world with it on my person. I never did get to see it. I'm sure my parents threw it out just like they did me...

All of a sudden?? After the deadlines passed??? Nice. I never applied to attend commencement bc we don’t get to walk. I would’ve appreciated this whole movement happening before April 1st. Guess I don’t have the place to say much though. I should’ve started the movement myself. Whatever. My fault I guess lmao. Hope everyone gets to walk and you guys get to enjoy that moment with your loved ones, especially all the first gen grads. I understand more than anyone how important that moment is. Hi, so in the summer I want to take CHEM 100 & 101 during the summer but i also want to take MATH 101. Would taking these three classes at the same time be doable ? (gotta lock in)

To keep a very long story short I'm transferring from where I'm at to go to hunter in the fall.

I didn't read this reddit first tho, so I didn't know how terrible the people are here apparently. (Referring to all those posts about people who dont know basic manners/people complaining about the library.) Anyway, am I already cooked when it comes to making new friends here? Are there any normal people?

Idrc what walk of life you come from or what you like I just need to find people to hang out with on or off campus to destress. If you guys know good clubs or places I can go when I start taking classes there it'd be appreciated 🙏.
