Does anyone have any suggestions?
And have you done anything about them, or just let them get on with it?
I have a problem with another shop, who copies my paintings (I sell little abstract watercolours, so they are made up by me, without using reference photos). I have had several removed by Etsy that were as close to identical as you can get with watercolours. Every time I add a new element into my work, they copy it.
I know they are deliberate copies, as this shop also copied my shop announcement in the past, copies they way I do all my photos, copies my Instagram posts, and even uses my shop name (a made-up name so they haven't used it accidentally). Their listings always show up in my shop as something "you may also like", and it's really pissing me off.
Just wondering if there's anyone else out there who's had a similar experience.
Hi, I could really use some honest feedback because I’m kind of hitting a wall.
My Etsy shop is about 4 months old and has around 82 active listings. I sell shirts and stickers in the chronic illness / neurodiversity niche. Shop link: healingjoys.etsy.com
Questions:
I’m getting very few visits from Etsy search compared to my total traffic. Based on my shop and listings, do you see any obvious SEO issues that might explain this?
Does my overall keyword strategy / niche targeting look clear enough for Etsy search, or does it seem too broad or confusing?
Answers from the guidelines
I started this shop because I wanted to create designs that feel validating and supportive (sometimes a bit humorous) for people dealing with chronic illness, disability, and neurodiversity, like me :)
Before opening and while improving the shop I’ve been researching Etsy SEO, keywords, competitor listings, and mockups. Recently I updated many listings according to the new 2026 Etsy Algorithm (titles, tags, descriptions, photos) to try to improve search visibility.
Stats from the last 7 days:
Thank you SO much!
Someone opened a case against our shop due to not receiving a package. While this doesn't usually bother me as it's covered under EPP, they never even reached out to let me know that their item hadn't arrived...they just made a case.
The thing that's bugging me is that usually EPP cases are open and shut within a minute or two, but this has been open for almost an hour now and they are telling me that this could take multiple days to close out even though the item is marked as delivered. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm nervous that this will affect our visibility but I don't want to refund the item and take accountability for a lost package.
I feel like I've seen this asked, but in a quick search didn't find it.
I just had an order large enough that it requires tracking number. So I decided to try out the Etsy labels for the first time. Great, have the label on the package (and I'm pretty sure this is cheaper than it would have been if I took it to the post office), but the system isn't allowing me to complete the order. The tracking number field is blank, and when I try to enter the tracking number, it tells me "the tracking number is already in use for this order"
What am I doing wrong?
I am still a baby seller (30 sales) and I have gotten pretty lucky with 4 solid reviews two of which with photos. However, I recently got a 3 star review. I do livestock treats and the buyer said her animal loved the treats but that they were very pricey. (These are 4" handmade, custom, organic, decorated treats that I charge $5 ea for and then discounted for half a dozen, a dozen and pre-arranged assortments etc which seems to compare pretty evenly to other sellers pricing for these).
I had a star seller rating previous to this, but it knocked me to a 4.5, and thankfully received another 5 star right after for a total of 6 reviews and back to a 4.6, but of course not enough to get back to star seller.
Anyway, I noticed sales have pretty much stopped since this review. I was on a pretty solid streak before it. I am not sure how to bounce back from it. I did a public reply where I said thank you for trying my treats and I am glad your animal liked them, and explained that we try to make them worth it since they are handmade, etc. But not sure if it would be better to delete that reply and just let it be there? I know personally if I were looking to buy something and saw the only "bad" review was about price but also included a compliment of the product I probably wouldn't think twice about it, but I am thinking not being a star seller now is taking a hit on my sales.
Appreciate any and all input!

I opened my shop 2 years ago I’ve had 33 sales, I always replie promptly and go above and beyond to provide top customer service for my buyers.
How can I gain interest?
Has anyone got any tips what worked for them?
I created this particular product as I suffer from anxiety and depression and Lego is a hobby I get lost in and I have began to loose space for all my sets and my flowers were looking messy and normal flower frogs didn’t really work so I decided to make Lego compatible ones that held the stems as certain angles creating perfect displays. Then with my larger sets I began creating wall mounts for my technic cars etc.
Hey all, I’m trying to up my sales on my Etsy, is there any pages on Reddit that allow post promoti your own business? Thanks!
Was wondering if Etsy ads is broken or something because there is no options to ad specific listings to ads. For example, this only shows one listing that I didn't even add to it.
It also added this automatically when I turned on ads. I never chose for it to do this. This is a new listing that I recently published too, so not sure if that's why?
I remember they use to give options to select listings, but it doesn't seem to show up anymore.
It's been a while since I used Etsy too, so there's a lot of new things like AI generated titles D:
Hi! I am trying mail stickers internationally, but the Etsy doesn’t let me select “Letter” mail like it does with domestic shipping. Can anyone tell me what to do so that I can have a tracking number? I have checked Pirate Ship and USPS and both are also trying to charge $18+ for shipping. It is just a letter envelope that weighs less than an ounce! Do I just get a global forever stamp and no tracking?
It's all about Brand Recognition. Can I add my company logo and/or mascot to my shipping labels? I already custom print my envelops for smaller orders.
I was looking at it this morning and got stuck where I couldn't go back to it. I was in a place that let me see each feedback at each number of stars and I wanted to see what the low stars were for and if those people ever came back-but I cannot for life figure out how I got there.
In case it's not clear there was a graph with the stars and I could click on the number of stars and it would show me only those feedbacks.
so guys things were kinda rough and i was looking for a side hustle to increase income heard about PLR digital products and Etsy shops seen videos and i need to hear from you guys if any have some advice
That’s something I’ve been wondering about a lot.
I know Etsy is different because presentation matters a ton and buyers can get turned off fast if something feels too aggressive.
But at the same time, if you have a bundle, sale, or special offer, it feels like there should be a clean way to communicate that better.
So how do you all handle it?
Do you keep listing images completely clean and let the description/title do the work, or do you use secondary images to explain offers, bundles, or product details more visually?
I’d love to hear what has actually helped conversion without hurting the look of the shop.
Etsy obviously recommends adding attributes as it’s like free extra tags. What attributes do people do for physical wall art though?? Also hard to pick a primary colour etc..
And then, if you have say green - would you then put green in your keywords tags as well or assume it’s covered by that and try do something else?
I don’t place my shop on vacation mode anymore but I do leave an announcement, change my shipping time to two weeks out and send a note to whoever buys during that time that items will be shipping on this and this day incase they missed the announcement or shipping info. I heaven’t gotten bad reviews but I wasn’t selling much. Now that my shop is picking up momentum I’m a little scared of a bad review about the shipping taking too long. What has your experience been with this?
Thanks guys
I’m selling a couple products and each has 4 colors. Is there a way I can find out which color variants sell more than others? I don't see any of that in the stats that Etsy provides. Or is this something that I have to do manually on my own? Seems like it would be trivial for Etsy to show that info.
She used a 10% off coupon plus a free shipping coupon. I had to cancel the sale because I would have lost money on it. But I can’t figure out how she was able to do it?
Hello. I am a new seller and i am still on the process of creating my shop. I've read that there are people who dislike it. Like the item becomes a hard pass for them.
They say that why not just order a sample of the actual product then take a video or photo of it.
The problem is fine art printing and framing is too costly. If I were to print both 8x10 and 16x20, it would already cost me 100 dollars without a frame. Not to mention i have to rent different places to hang it on to show it in different areas of the house etc etc.
Is it really not acceptable to use mock ups?
Thank you!
