I’m about 20 hours in and really enjoying the game. I love exploration and this one seemed promising at first - enjoyable combat, tokens to find, and chests hidden in houses or hidden in corners.

The problem is that there’s almost never anything interesting in them. I just collect items, sell them, and buy new equipment if there’s anything. I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I don’t see much use in like 90% of the items. Of course, I use and craft some potions and keep materials needed for upgrades, but the rest feels kind of pointless. I’m still having fun exploring for now, but I’m worried it’ll get boring soon.

I’m planning to uncover the whole map as a some sort of goal, since the quests seem pretty short and not that interesting anyway. For those who enjoyed the game, especially the exploration aspect, how did you approach it?

Honestly! Stealing Wakestones and up to 3x Ferrystones off of undead and phantoms is the bees knees! I ended up getting about 16 Ferry stones over this weekend just from fondling phantoms.

Also, I've quit looting plants and such because I can get the mats from plundering downed enemies. This has helped significantly with weight issues. This morning I plundered the Dullahan in the Misty Marshes and got the Craos Tine staff that it drops when it's killed. Then it dropped another of the same staff after I killed it. They're gonna have to start listing me on the registry for the way I'm touchin' these baddies!!!

Who? Who in Capcom decided to make Pawns to be this adorable?

I just can't. The way your pawn would occasionally looks at you when you have high enough affinity with them but would look at the ground when you face them 😭 They're just your number one fanboy/fangirl with pure unconditional love and loyalty to you.

It's amazing how a character without any background or backstory whatsoever, even only got like a total of 1 minute of cutscene in the game, and yet managed to make you grown attached to them. No other game (yet) can make me care about a custom created character like this.

Capcom please don't abandon this IP PLEASE! I need more of pawns as my companions!
