So, after 196 hours, I've decided to finally speak to Brant at the Inn and being the main story and side quests. I completed Seat of the Sovran and expected Dulled Steel, Cold Forge to pop when I approached the castle. However, Roman isn't showing up at all. I wanna just go on to the next story quest but I'm not sure this will lock me out of Dulled Steel. Anyway have any insight into this? I wanna make sure I do 100% of what's possible and I'd hate to miss this. Greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

Hear me out. First, let me say that I adore this game! I consider DD1 as a top 10 favorite and DD2 is moving toward being a favorite as well. However, there are a few RPG elements I'd love to see in DD2. Such as being able to color armor and maybe transmute (that term tells you where I'm coming from lol) gear.

I feel like DD takes itself too seriously wherein you can't "hide helmet" or use gear from a different vocation. Skills and augments should be tied to vocations. Weapons and armor, should not! Imagine being able to color gear?! That would add such a level of uniqueness to our Arisens and Pawns. The Rift would be like da club if this were possible lol. What say you? Any other mechanics you think DD should have? Thoughts?

Honestly! Stealing Wakestones and up to 3x Ferrystones off of undead and phantoms is the bees knees! I ended up getting about 16 Ferry stones over this weekend just from fondling phantoms.

Also, I've quit looting plants and such because I can get the mats from plundering downed enemies. This has helped significantly with weight issues. This morning I plundered the Dullahan in the Misty Marshes and got the Craos Tine staff that it drops when it's killed. Then it dropped another of the same staff after I killed it. They're gonna have to start listing me on the registry for the way I'm touchin' these baddies!!!
