Update:
Just looked more into it and apparently it’s just promoting the breakfast themed treats it came out with. Some DQs in the south already served breakfast but not all and this promotion isn’t a promotion for breakfast at all DQs but just for the treats. So sadly not all DQs will be getting breakfast but atleast there yummy looking treats added to the menu!
HELP does anyone have a recipe for the Cinnadust hard shell
Am I seeing this right? Is the coupon exactly the same price as regular?
Took the meal to checkout and they both have the same components
Are the fudge icing pieces in the new donut blizzard soft like the brownie pieces?
I can’t have harder foods like the chocolate bars in the s’mores blizzard. What’s the texture of the fudge icing? Also how does it taste?
Haven’t been to dq in a long time and I also used to work here too, but is this a medium or a small?
This blizzard looks smaller than i remember and expected it to be.
Now to be fair I also haven’t work at dq in 3-4 years either. Can someone please tell me what it is? Thank you in advance.
Is it worth leaving McDonald’s for DQ Grill & Chill?
I currently work as a Shift Manager at McDonald’s Canada making $18.90/hr and recently interviewed at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill for an Assistant Manager position, during initial salary discussions, I told them I was aiming around 50k since the indeed job post has a range of 45k to 55k for both Assistant Manager and GM role.
They ended up offering me a Shift Supervisor role instead, when asked they mentioned there’s a lot of room for advancement at that location. I checked the contract and saw the pay was $21.50/hr, which is a bit high for Shift Supervisor. I initially thought that they would lowball me to $19 change since most QSR supervisor roles usually offer that.
I wanted honest opinions from people who worked at DQ Grill & Chill:
- How’s the work culture?
- How stressful are the rushes compared to McDonald’s?
- Do they actually promote internally?
- How much does DQ shift supervisors get paid?
- Do you think they offered higher because I interviewed for Assistant Manager initially?
- Overall, would you say it’s worth joining?
Would appreciate honest advice from current/former employees.
Found this on the Side of the Street While Walking Home.
It seems to be some type of hat? It's Port Authority branded. However I cannot find any images of this hat online that has the DQ symbol like this one. I have also been unable to find any mention of it as being part of the uniform. It seems like it would be part of a cold weather uniform but it is May and I'm also in Texas.
None of this is a big deal, I was just curious and bored on a Sunday and thought someone on here may no a bit about it.
Side Note: I just learned recently that other states do not have the T-brand tacos on their menus which is a travesty. They taste so much better than Taco Bells, they are larger, and their ingredients are fresher/higher quality. Not to mention they do $1 tacos for Taco Tuesday. If you ever get the chance definitely get the tacos.
This is my first month at Dairy Queen, and I wanted to show some ice cream curls I made. I took photos with my Meta Ray-Bans.

What’s your high score? Trying to see if it’s hard or just me 🤷♀️
DQ handbook mentions being drug tested - do they actually and what type of test?
Is it just one of those things where they say they're gonna do it but never do? And if you have gotten drug tested at dairy queen, what type of test was it? Urine?
Hello!
I'm currently 5 months pregnant and constantly crave ice cream, specifically DQ vanilla soft serve. Even though my husband and I currently live close to a DQ, it's not practical to go get a cone every time I crave it lol!
I've read that you can get a quart or liter of the soft serve, but I looked on the website at multiple restaurants and none of them have it listed on their menu.
Is this something I have to go in and ask for specifically or does that just mean they don't have it?
Thanks!
We're getting one in my hometown soon but I suck with patience lmao. I can't believe I missed out on this stuff for so long, sure it's just a burger but DQ lives up to the hype imo. The Stackburger tastes really good and the fries are well done, plus having a blizzard on the side gives the meal a huge boost. The restaurant I chose was also super clean and nice on the eyes; it felt fresh but also comfortable. Kinda like DQ as a whole lol.
I’m going to Dairy Queen for the first time tonight. What should I get?
Nut Topping Options?
I was very confused when ordering a sundae in Southern Massachusetts today. I asked for walnuts and they told me they stopped carrying them. I asked for whatever nuts they had that weren't peanuts and they said they had a nut blend and pecans. I picked pecans because I didn't want peanuts and figured it might be the peanut topping lol.
I asked for clarification at the window and said "hey just wondering, what nuts are in the nut blend now?" The worker looked terrified and said the nut blend was just pecans. I didn't want to seem like I was trying to argue because they are/were separate topping choices on app orders, so I just took my pecans/nut blend and left.
What's in the nuts? 😂
I made this game if anyone likes wordle and the price is right and is interested in trying it out. Item changes daily:

Tried to order a cotton candy blizzard with no sprinkles and extra cotton candy topping and it’s setting me back this much
?
They’re amazing and they have this like tang to it that I love, no other fries have it.
TL;DR: I ask for no lid at the drive thru + keep it chunky so the cookie dough and reese's aren't ruined + little more Blizzard, is this common?
I order at my usual DQ, the same every time, a Cookie Dough Blizzard, XT Cookie Dough, + Reese's.
Half the time they'd flip it and hand it to me. Otherwise times they'd put a lid on it. I eventually saw that they put way less in it if they put the lid on. Maybe this is crazy but I feel like there's a lot more when they put no lid on it, might be placebo but whatever.
I spoke to a manager one time and they said my order is very chunky?? So that's why if they used a lid they'd go up an extra size, to accommodate the space, or put a sundae lid on. But its always a very creamy drink and both the cookie dough and reese's are prominent.
Anyways, I eventually started asking for "no lid" at the drive thru, since I get to my place fast enough to not have anything melt and I love the extra stuff. Now they don't put a lid on and get it right every time.
I went to another DQ closer to my GFs home and did the exact same order, and it was mixed WAY different (the cookie dough instead of big chunks is whittled to bit, I barely taste any reese's) and I was displeased. But I drove off because I'm not sure if this is a common practice that I do, or if I should explain it better so my orders right at the line. Anyone have any advice? In particular any employees that could let me know how it works inside.
Why would the marketing team at DQ think it is a good idea to start their ad on snap chat with a DOORBELL!! I have dachshunds.. they already have quite the bark but i literally have no notice when im clicking through stories with my sound up the BOOM! *DING DONG* *BARK BARK BARK*
I love me some DQ but it annoys me so bad, makes me click off immediately then yell "NO BARK IT WAS JUST A STUPID DQ AD!! NO ONE IS AT THE DOOR!"
