Going to be near Tysons today and desperately need new bras. Who does the best bra fitting there? Leaning towards Intimissimi but I know sometimes the department stores have true gems working in their intimates section, I’m probably an F/G cup so definitely not Victoria’s Secret.

I have already done my own measurements with the ABraThatFits calculator, but would love to have someone check my work before I spend all the money lol.

hi all! i'm looking for advice on apartments in DC as a young female professional. i would live with roommates but am willing to go into a little rent burden for a solo studio - my monthly rent budget excluding utilities is hovering around $1860. i honestly cannot go much higher than that without feeling it.

some things i'm looking for: older renovated buildings, safety/pest control is a big concern, nighlife doesn't matter that much to me but walkability (eg. cafes for working from home or weekends, restaurants) definitely matters. i've been looking at adams morgan, union market/noma, columbia heights, h-street. are there any specific apartments anyone would recommend?

some places i've had my eyes on: admo heights, highview & castle manor, harvard village, i5 union market, the belgard, and sonya.

any suggestions or help would be appreciated!! thanks all!

Hi! I was recently fired from my job and don’t qualify for unemployment. Does anyone have any jobs where I can start looking? I’ve applied to over 100 jobs already and all of them either never respond or are outside sales/mlm vibes. My resume is kinda all over the place because what I majored in isn’t what I started working in once I graduated. I have a background in politics, marketing, and coding. True definition of jack of all trades, master of none. I want to transition into computer science/data analyst but I don’t know how to break into that field or where to even start. Hi ladies! This is a long shot but I dropped off my RTR package last Monday at the UPS in Navy Yard and now I’ve gotten hit with $160 in late fees from RTR because they haven’t received the package yet.
I
went to check my RTR account and it doesn’t even show a record of UPS scanning the return label. I made a rookie mistake and didn’t get a receipt from the UPS store (lesson learned !!!). Does anyone know how I can resolve this? Do I ask UPS for camera footage lol?

Anybody else recently get kinda scammed by Lovely Bride? Aka store maybe pocketing dress sales and not actually submitting orders to designers, sending brides knockoffs instead or not fulfilling dress orders at all? I know this sounds crazy but something very scammy has been happening in that shop. I think the current franchise owners are getting ousted because of it.

hi!! i have a very specific request. it’s my birthday next tuesday (5/19) and it’s forecasted to be in the low 90s. one thing about me…..i hate the heat! i grew up in texas so i’m very used to the low 90s on my birthday but every birthday i’ve had here has been perfect up until now (which is in the 70s for me)

so i’m very sad that we’re heating up so fast BUT i did take the day off and don’t have concrete plans yet. i also still have my winter shade and desperately need some sun, so while knowing that the pools aren’t open, where would you go to tan if you had the day off next week and it was in the 90s!

would i love to have a body of water while i tan? yes, but understood that it’s not super realistic. bonus points if you know somewhere in MD because i’m technically a suburban resident in hiding

I have 1B hair, so not super complicated. I have had a rough year on my hair (had a TERRIBLE coloring experience at Bang Salon City Vista and have been recovering ever since), so I have some trust issues. I usually prefer to visit my stylist back home in NC because I haven’t found someone here, but I have a graduation this weekend and a wedding at the end of the month and would like to get at least a partial highlight.

I like a fine weave on my highlights (not chunky) and typically pay $180 (not including tip) for a full highlight, toning, and cut/style at home. Is there anywhere in this city that is remotely comparable to that price-wise and has good technique? Technique matters more to me, but I really would love to stay under $230 before tip, if possible.

Hey all, my eyes have been really strained lately, and I went to my eye doctor and he mentioned that my current glasses from Warby Parker have the optical center/lens placement wrong which might be causing the strain.

My doctor is going to make the new lenses for me, so I’m just looking to buy frames. My budget is around $150–$250 max. I wear glasses everyday, so could also stretch just a little bit.

I know my budget is not that much, but does anyone have recommendations for good frame places in DC? Would appreciate your recs! thank youuu.
