I got a good rank this year, so I’m thinking of joining VIT. I talked to a senior who is currently studying there, and he told me something that I think others should know too.

⭐Less student intake this year:

As everyone knows, VIT gets a lot of criticism because of the huge crowd on campus due to the high number of admissions in recent years. But the senior told me that this year (2026), the management is taking fewer students compared to previous years. I don’t know the exact numbers, but according to him, they are trying to improve the crowd situation.

So maybe in the next few years, the crowd issue could get better and the overall environment might improve too.

So I got an email regarding the admission procedure for vit where it was mention that i need to pay a sum of 2lakh ruppees on 27th may after choice filling, and JosAA counselling is on june 2, so if i got a better college than vit through josaa, can I refund my 2lakh ruppees ??

And it would also be very helpfull if someone gave me a working helpline number of the college as the college is not replying my calls or emails.

Guys, approximately from my calculation I'm only getting 404 marks...i attempted 111 questions out of which 105 i think are right...is there a possibility for BTech Civil Cat 5 in Bhopal???

Guys drop your predictions as to what my rank can be , 100 tukka and 25 solved , will update you guys when result drops

Worst performing branch for placements this year plus they will push you into tcs 3.36lpa. The amount of software roles for ece is very less compared to cse. If u going ece core less than 100 placed from 1000 ppl from all the campuses together so atb if you wanna take.....also high competition along with very tough subjects... cse has easier subjects....I can go on and on if you want.. I am in final year btw

Based on my rank in both the exams i feel like i might get cse in cat - 1 or 2 in vit chennai and amrita coimbatore. I am confused about choosing one among them. I don't really mind the uniforms/strict rule in amrita. My main focus is placements.

Also i'm worried about amrita because we have to maintain a certain cgpa to stay in the same slab.
