Vit or Amrita? Are they more or less the same? Based on placements,college life and oppurtunities which is better?

CSE at Amrita Coimbatore vs CSE at VIT Chennai

Based on my rank in both the exams i feel like i might get cse in cat - 1 or 2 in vit chennai and amrita coimbatore. I am confused about choosing one among them. I don't really mind the uniforms/strict rule in amrita. My main focus is placements.

Also i'm worried about amrita because we have to maintain a certain cgpa to stay in the same slab.
