What should be prioritized while choosing your college, college fame or branch? (Engineering)
A better "branch" opens up career opportunities and ensures interest, while a "fame" college offers a strong network and brand value

AIML - artificial intelligence and machine learning
AIDE - artificial intelligence and data engineering
DS - data science
IT - information technology
I found a *goldmine* video on youtube, which shows the exact number of seats in each branch, exact placement stats for EACH BRANCH SPECIFICALLY,
average packages for EACH BRANCH SPECIFICALLY,
companies visited for every year, cutoffs, etc etc
Overall good in depth placement data.
So I'll share the link and also attach some screenshots
I got a good rank this year, so I’m thinking of joining VIT. I talked to a senior who is currently studying there, and he told me something that I think others should know too.
⭐Less student intake this year:
As everyone knows, VIT gets a lot of criticism because of the huge crowd on campus due to the high number of admissions in recent years. But the senior told me that this year (2026), the management is taking fewer students compared to previous years. I don’t know the exact numbers, but according to him, they are trying to improve the crowd situation.
So maybe in the next few years, the crowd issue could get better and the overall environment might improve too.

Book Name - mtg 11 years BITSAT Chapter wise solutions
Cost ~ ₹350
So first I'll tell you the content
Physics - 368 questions
Chemistry - 365 questions
English - 119 questions
LR - 124 questions
Mathematics - 379 questions
Mock Tests - 4 (one of 2025 qns, rest three are random)
So i received this book a week ago and I've solved the entire book once, so these are my opinions:
(( i know BITSAT does not release their official question papers, so i guess these are the memory based ones ))
• Pros-
Contains *detailed solutions* of the questions in the book itself, so no need to search up online.
According to Bitsat *official syllabus* - the questions are distributed into chapters officially recognised in the syllabus (exact names and contents of the book).
Chapter wise arrangement - easy to solve and saves time
Good for chapters you've never done before - you get an idea of the variety of questions asked from the chapters you have never done before (extra syllabus).
Good amount and good level of questions in *English and LR* .
A good question bank and Good print quality and very few errors
• Cons-
Some students say that the level of questions of BITSAT 2025/26 has increased significantly (so these questions *might* be less relevant)
Questions are at an easy difficulty level - If anyone has solved all the JEE MAINS past 4-5 years pyqs, then this is not for you. 70-80% questions are of the exact same type as those asked in JM PYQs. So just go for a book which contains more difficult and higher level questions.
Tldr - i've explained the content, pros and cons of the book
Rating - 8/10 - You should even solve mock tests containing mixed toughness daily, only this is not enough. This is good for quick revision and for the taste of questions.
