Future confused fresher here 🥲 trying to decide my life in one counselling form 👍
So I’ve been stalking this sub and talking to people, and this is what I think I understand (pls correct before I ruin my career):
COE = thoda hardware + software (all-rounder vibes 💪)
CSE = pure coding + CS core (placement magnet??)
AI = future wali cheezein 🤖 (but thoda risky?)
DS = data, stats, ML (Excel final boss 📊)
Now here’s the twist — I’m kinda leaning towards COE, because it sounds like I won’t be useless if robots take over AND I can still sit in tech placements 😭
But idk if I’m being smart… or just overthinking like every other 12th grader.
My doubts:
COE vs CSE — is COE actually worth it or just “CSE lite”?
AI/DS — cool names or actual good choice? Any regret stories?
Do companies even care about branch or just skills (and luck 🥲)?
What should be the real preference order (not brochure wala, actual reality check)?
Main goal: good placements + coding + not crying after 4 years 👍
