soo brutal dude i js got soft rejected

well i believe so at least, me and her are in the same class and we only really had small interactions so when i asked for her insta i was surprised she gave it to me but now i look back she was just being nice, but yeah during that time we talked and she wasnt dry or boring or anything but she'd take ages to reply

by that time i decided thats a sign shes not interested but the possibility of hope would weigh on my mind so i decided to gain clarity by making a proper move.

i start the convo by asking for study tips and then i ask if she would wanna study together and she replied saying she can't study well with others and tbh i don't think shes lying, i cant rlly study with others either but anyway it's still a rejection

so i wanna know what action i take from here?

i'm leaving this sub 🥹

no i'm not converting back to islam or becoming a christian i'm an atheist and anti islam its just that after being an ex-muslim for so long it gets tiring with all the negativity in our lives and it's best i dont fuel that frustration by being in this sub, also a lot of the arguments against islam i have seen and covered them already so it feels like a lot of takes in this sub are recycle even when theyre not. unfortunately i still live in a muslim household so the pretense never ends but each day it gets easier so thats good

i'm probs not the only one to feel this way so you guys feel free to share your story

anyway i enjoyed sharing my thoughts and opinion. i genuinely feel like i have nothing more to do besides vent which for me personally isnt a good way to control emotions

i'll defo find other ways to support this community ❤️‍🩹

what are the best ways to get to know your crush?

yeah so we are both in the same class but i only see her 2 times a week so i was thinking i was gonna ask her out to do something but she lives so far away from me but she also said she doesnt like going out a lot so its lowkey impossible

has anyone else been in such a situation? what have you done?

so basically i have had a crush on her for about 4 months or so and we sit close to each other in one of our classes together, not intentionally but kinda a seating plan. we didnt really talk and when we did it was quick i'm talking like 30 secs and always about the work.

i realise i want to get to know her more so i ask her for her insta and she gives it to me although you can tell she was fairly surprised and then i message her and we just start a convo and yes it was enjoyable and she wasnt dry but she would leave me on delivered for hours and even days on end ( she said her phone broke but thats hard to believe )

i take that as a sign shes not interested and i stop chasing her and try to move on and we back in class so i just compliment her outift to not make things akward, then it's her birthday and i say "happy birthday!" and she says thanks and smiles.

other than class discussions i never really talk to her and she never initiates which i guess is another sign that the feelings not mutual

so to the girls if a guy randomly asks for your socials and then tries to talk to you but after he stops and goes back to normal. do you find it strange? do you see it as mixed signals?

it's pretty clear i like her so shes most likely confused rn but i really don't know what move to make, can anyone give me advice? schools ending soon so i guess have to take action bcos i dont like when things are unclear? idk maybe i should confess to get a proper rejection?

TLDR: HAD A CRUSH ON A GIRL, SHE DIDNT RECIPROCATE AND I MOVED ON BUT WAS IT TOO SOON?

one thing you should never do is become an entertainer or a jester or just someone who loses their self respect when they have a crush so these are the signs:

  • when you talk to them theres no attempt on their side to expand the convo meaning they reply with one word. or so
  • they leave you on delivered or read for hours ( i promise you no ones ever that busy )
  • they never initiate anything or start convos.
  • when they do talk to you theres a feeling their just being nice
  • they may be friendly but it remains surface level and never deeper

a person that likes you will find ways to be around you or even talk to you, so yeah guys if you dealing with this rn its best to stop coping and try to move on bcos your wasting both yours and their time and if you keep pursuing you become a creep

i'm a y12 rn and looking to apply for law and of course prestiege comes first and maybe if its far from home but other than that my shortlist is ones that just sound good to me or like have some aura to them or should i say an allure. for example ive never researched about it but i like the sound of york uni.

as a y12 who wants to apply for law in 2027, i have just realised bcos of my low gcses i have virtually no chance. i got 888776664 at gcses with the 4 in statistics, even if i get A*AA predicted or similar theyll js choose the guys with higher gcses. i also just clocked i'm competing with the other cracked international students who have perfect everything.

has anyone been in a similar situation? idk i just need advice

so yeah i want to go to uni in september 2027 and i want to study law so i have to do the lnat admissions exam. so i was js wondering can anyone give dates and such to when these things occur?

i have mocks soon and they play like 60% into what my predicted grades are but these are finalised in october so they can change

so when will i sit the lnat exams? when should i begin preparing for it? when does ucas open and deadline? when do i have to do supercurriculars and write personal statements?

thanks!

i understand a job is of course the best method but a lot of times its not viable unless you have connections like i'm only getting a job bcos my friend works there and his brother also work there

but i was wondering is there a way to make money in an easier route bcos i only work weekends and the payment is monthly

a lot of people say things like tutoring, investing, coding and whatnot but even so these things are long term skills to develop

so if anyone makes money rn as a sixthformer, how you do it and how long did it take?
