Y’all remember this felted gauge swatch? I made use of it

I got a bunch of reactions about felting my swatch (even though I followed washing instructions). I did not have the courage (yet) to pick this yarn back up and try again, BUT I made the swatch into a crochet hook bag with two cute buttons that I kept from an old top. Yay for no waste 😊
Additionally: after suggestions, I emailed the store where I bought the yarn, and they have refunded the lot. They agreed that this felting should not have happened with how I washed it and then lay flat to dry.
