I purchased kushaq last year and here is the reality of owning kushaq.
- The fuel pump is very sensitive to petrol quality. Many customers have reported EPC issues even when using XP95 fuel. I did not get this issue till now but I'm sure I will get it in future.
- The overall dimensions are smaller, resulting in limited cabin and boot space. 3 people cannot sit in back seat.
- Engine refinement (3-cylinder) was good initially, but after crossing 10,000 km, noticeable vibrations developed inside the cabin.
- The clutch travel is long and tends to become hard over time, making it tiring in traffic conditions.
- The suspension is stiff, making it difficult to drive fast on bad roads. Easily i get fatigue/uncomfortable when driven on bad roads or potholes.
- Service centers often suggest unnecessary add-ons, deny warrenty claims incase of parts failure. No accountability.
- Braking performance is average compared to the gv, Creta (which offers four-disc brakes). It lacks a strong bite, due to cost-cutting in disc size (276 mm front), whereas gv, creta offer around 305 mm rotors, it has better stopping power.
- AC cooling depends on RPM, because of tiny engine below 1500rpm cooling is weak. We need to keep high rpm to feel cool but no chiller feel.
- It's not a practical car compared to gv.
Ask me anything, I will respond to queries.
Kushaq facelift owners can confirm how the AC cooling in facelifted kushaq. Do you feel chill inside the cabin and does it take more time to cool a hot cabin in summer ?
