Appreciation post! What a fun-to-drive car it is! The steering feel and feedback is awesome, and the handling is as good as it can get! Thanks to Honda for making such a great car. Drove from Bangalore to Kalasa (a small hill station in Karnataka), total distance around 700 km (to and fro)+ 150km sight seeing. Got a mileage of 12 kmpl, with AC always on and at 20°C.

First of all it will brought to India as a CBU unit, so Honda will position it as a halo product rather than a volume seller, so that they can test the premium market which they will fail literally left right and centre with their absurd pricing.

As its a CBU and Hybrid price will be in the premium range expect more than the Tucson, only advantage is the hybrid technology where users can extract a good mileage ( if it ever gets sold in good numbers )

Need to see how Honda will play this CBU game.

I am considering buying a second hand elevate. 2 years 6 months old, 14k kms odometer.

it’s cars24 direct seller. the inspection report mentions these issues. (see images)

is this something I should worry about?

I did 20 km runs on an expressway at various fixed cruise control speeds. Started at 75km/hr then 86 then 99 and 110. The average rpm moved from 1400 to 2000. The results are attached. AC on and with two other passengers and 4 carry on suitcases.

This color always looks very premium on the road and is also maintenance friendly.. Even after 21 years, my Zen’s paint hasn’t faded like many red or blue Zens.. That’s what inspired me to choose the same shade family for my Elevate..

What made you choose your favorite color for the Elevate?

Bought ZX MT Obsidian Blue - Elevate a month back. Drove ~550km with mileage 10.5km - AC always On & drove only in the city. (I hope it will increase 🥲)

1.Service took 2 hours on a sunday....! They did the check ups only (no oil change), It cost zero amount. Although they had already added a few extras like .... rust coating and silencer coating etc, I denied all Value added services.

2.I didn't have any issues as such to report, but if there are any , service ppl will do free of charge.

3.Accessories they will add - ambient light. Will do later. I didn't take the 360 deg cam.

4.Overall Experience after 1st service: I liked the minimalist dashboard of elevate. Looks neat and functional. But I genuinely miss TPMS in this car. I am searching for a internal fitted one that would display in the infotainment. And may be Dashcam will add. Hope it won't void warranty.

I tell them daily not to play in the parking lot, and I have seen them smash the balls into the car many times. Today, they damaged the taillight. How do I get it fixed? Should I claim insurance? What are the alternatives? I am really disheartened because it's just a month old bro
