Is this product actually worth buying??? M-19

I've seen a lot of people saying that this roller is good and some said it's bad and they saw no effect...the opinions are quite polarizing...

I'm thinking of buying man matters derma roller for using mostly on hairline.

should i give it a try???

(I've used this product 2 years ago but no consistency, didnt know how to use, no hair routine and shitty diet)

M21: 4thi baar puch rha hun 😭bta do warna mukka maar dunga😡

my hair type is 1c which is straight to little wavey (after 2-3 days of shampoo).

I've oily scalp if I don't shampoo them especially when they are long it's all gresy and according to my hairtype, it don't end well. But the phase after 1 day of shampoo and no oil and shampoo for 3 consecutive days is feels like heaven✨🫶

but after day 4, it's itching and when i scratch my scalp, that greasy thing stuck in my nails

and all of that my hair density is medium to low, zara sa baal sarkate se hi scalp dikh jata h😭

so the problem is shampoo karo toh hairfall na karo toh hairfall, tho it's not typical hairfall.

pls analyse my situation and help me what should I do how to take care of them.

thank uhh in advance🙏🫂

M20: HELP I dont wanna go bald💔

I have been balding since start of 2024. I visited the doctor around July 2024 and started topical minoxidl treatment for about 4 months but showed no progress. Blamed it on the extreme stress I took during NEET and the hairpulling I used to do during tests. Ever since then due to insecurities I stopped looking at myself at all nor in camera or in Mirror.

I saw myself today and its absolutely devastating. I was not recognizable to me at all, my entire palm fits on my forehead now( earlier it was barely 2 to 3 fingers). I am deficient on Zinc and VitB as well I had been on tablets back then too but it didnt show any considerate sign either. Shaved my head about 3 to 4 times in the past 2 years.

the hairline is so bad I even lost my widows peak.

I still have a patchy beard as well. it hasnt grown much and My wet hairs are absolutely terrifying to look. I am almost bald at this point costing me insecurity and self confidence.

please help me fix this. I dont wish to be dependent on drugs for my life either Is there any other way to fix this other than replying on Minoxidil and finasteride again?

if not I'd visit a dermat again and start over. I really cannot afford to loose these hairs. I have no confidence in me to do anything anymore.

The last photo is of my hairs in 2023-2024 when They were the last time I saw myself feeling good with hairs rest current ones taken today.

M26: Haircare Query

Hi Champs, I was using just a bathing Soap to clean my hair until I turned 25 years of old. Then being a fan of MSD, I thought to grow my hair. UntiI date I have been trying multiple shampoos and conditioners, Loreal paris Hyaluron shampoo and conditioner being the latest one but my hair becomes frizzy after 2 days of wash and combing becomes difficult and painful. I bought Neem Comb and it is doing a little bit of help too. Two things I want to know:

  1. How to reduce frizziness and tangling? Any serum would help?
  2. Which Hairband to use? I use the trendy one in the market but it seems to cause pain in head during long term use and I have heard it recede hairline too.

15M PREMATURE GREYING OF HAIRS , DEFICIENCY DRIVEN?

Hi, I’m a 15-year-old male with premature greying since age 13–13.5 (currently ~30–50 strands, mostly top/crown). Recently noticed slowing and around 7–8 hairs showing darker roots/turning black with supplements.

🧪 Blood Results

  • Vitamin D: 8.49 ng/mL (severely low)
  • Vitamin B12: 272 pg/mL (borderline low)
  • Ferritin: 45.9 ng/mL (low for hair)
  • TSH, T3, T4: Normal
  • CBC: Mostly normal (MCV/MCH slightly low)

💊 Supplements & Treatment

  • Currently:
    • Melitane topical (Altris-5)
    • MOM-XL (Zinc, Copper, antioxidants)
    • Vitamin B12 supplement
  • Previously:
    • Biotin (3 months)

❓ Questions

  1. Are these deficiencies enough to explain early greying?
  2. Is this reversible at my stage?
  3. Should I still test Copper/Zinc/Folate? 4.Is there a doc or someone who can help me here

Looking for informed advice, especially from dermatologists. Thanks!

M22 Hair thinning for 4 years – minoxidil not enough, should I add fin?

I’ve had noticeable hair thinning for about 4 years now. My density is pretty low, especially at the crown and mid-scalp — I can see my scalp clearly, especially when wet.

I’ve been using:

- Topical minoxidil (10%)

- Oral minoxidil (2.5 mg)

- Multivitamins

for the past 8–9 months. It helped a bit (less hair fall + slight regrowth), but my hair still looks very thin and weak. before that i was on and off on tropical min and Multivitamins.

I asked my doctor about finasteride, but he didn’t prescribe it.

So just wanted to ask:

- Should I consider starting fin?

- Can it actually improve density or just slow hair loss?

Would appreciate any advice or experiences.

M16 : Need advice on my hair

Random frame from a video. liked how my hair looked here and was wondering if this length/style is worth keeping or if I should grow it more.

Also looking for shampoo recommendations. Right now I only use shampoo and don’t use conditioner, so any suggestions for improving hair health or styling would help.

Hair loss + low Vitamin D & borderline B12 – could this be the cause? M26

Hey everyone,

I’ve been dealing with noticeable hair loss lately and got some blood work done. I’m trying to understand if my levels could be contributing before I go to a dermatologist.

Here are my results:

Vitamin levels:

Vitamin D3: 18.29 ng/mL (low)

Vitamin B12: 257 pg/mL (borderline low)

Iron studies:

Serum Iron: 116 µg/dL

TIBC: 397 µg/dL

UIBC: 281 µg/dL

Transferrin Saturation: 29.22%

Ferritin: 98.9 ng/mL

Lipid profile (not sure if relevant but sharing anyway):

Total Cholesterol: 225 mg/dL

Triglycerides: 159 mg/dL

HDL: 53 mg/dL

LDL: 140.2 mg/dL

From what I’ve read:

Vitamin D seems clearly low

B12 is borderline

My questions:

Could low Vitamin D and borderline B12 be causing or worsening my hair loss?

Has anyone here seen improvement in hair after correcting these levels?

Is it safe/reasonable to start Vitamin D and B12 supplements before seeing a dermatologist, or should I wait?

Any insights or similar experiences would really help 🙏

M27: Got a cheaper substitute for Pelliswash shampoo… legit?

I usually take Pelliwash shampoo for my seborrheic dermatitis (been on it for 1 month), and when I went to order it this time, tried Truemeds just to compare prices. They suggested the substitute which is Stefly shampoo… with same composition but lesser price.

I thought it was sketchy… but the composition and everything same. Is this just the whole generic vs branded thing in India? Anyone who used Stefly…is it good?
