So I didn't find anything for this because I'm looking specifically for this sky striker combo

Let's say I activate engage CL1 which lets me search for a card and linkage CL2 sends engage from the field to grave to ssummon ace zero.

Linkage resolves so ace zero is summoned.

Engage resolves so I search for a card.

Ace zero has a trigger effect when it's summoned also to search for a card

The question is: can my opponent activate droll before I search with ace zero? And if so, is ace zero's trigger effect not activateable then?

Sorry if this is not the place but I'm getting desperate. I bought a ~1kg package within my country that was supposedly sent on the 25th of April and it still hasn't arrived. Single cards usually arrive the next day or day after for me so this seems weird. Also I don't have tracking sadly. I sent the seller a message but no answer after 3 days. Do I get the full refund after 30 days since it's declared as lost?

Hi just a quick post to give my opinion since a lot of people seem to disagree with me but upstart is just playing into droll. That's it. No card advantage, nothing. You don't even get to search, you just draw one.

That was the best thing you could get a few years ago, because you're playing a 37 card deck and it gets a spell in GY. Sure. But nowadays you have an alternative in the radiant typhoon quick plays that also put spells in GY and most importantly: they can be activated in the draw phase. This deck doesn't die to droll anymore.

So unless you're on a budget, which I understand, upstart isn't the optimal way to play sky strikers. Change my mind
